I Have Something to Tell You

Let's order first.
One thing about the sign of Cancer is the intimate pleasure of sharing personal experiences, and when Mars turned retrograde last Thursday, I had a series of warm and eager conversations with my girlfriends. One in particular -- a new one. A calm, confident lady I encounter all the time but hadn't connected with until that day. And what a connection it was. It turns out she's a Taurus, a young woman studying to become a psychologist. Now that was grist for the Mars in Cancer mill. Great talk, which will be continued since we cross paths several times a week in an intimate setting. A new friend is always a joy, added to the pantheon of old standards, of course.

Joe!! There you are!
Happy birthday, my friend. Old standard, that is.

Speaking of old friends and standards.... I had a vintage jazz guitar (Gibson Epiphone 1950ish) in the closet that keeps appreciating and I was thinking of selling. So I took it out to find the serial number and fell in love all over again. I'm keeping it. It's getting plugged back in. Mars retro in Cancer??

i'm having vegetable chop suey left over from lunch out with friends on friday!

New friends are always a sweet dividend...and a Taurus very nice.

Mars retro in Cancer for the falling in love with the Gibson again? Could be.

We are enjoying the nicest weather ever. I've been on the roof making a small repair to the shingles from a windstorm, cleaning out oleanders that died last year in the severe winter storm, finally had to admit that dead is dead. They gave a last gasp but it's over and they are being slowly dug up. Thirty five years of roots is a lot of digging.
What feels best is running the line through the list, finding enough time to do chores that usually get shortchanged for other work. Mars retro in Cancer?

Just back from a quick walk under the night sky, thinking about the comet Holmes it's current location conjoins the fixed star Mirfac and the full moon this week. What a line up with Uranus going direct. Any thoughts?

PS i had an interesting conversation with a potter friend tho since he has work in the Smithsonian and at the UN this is pottery to a new level. We were discussing the Art Train idea. It is still floating around in my brain- love the train bound for glory at the cafe. Oh yes.

No! Really? Chop seuy?
I'm so glad you caught that glory train.

Let me check the astro facts and see. Uranus direct is an interesting one. Are you ready for Pluto on your Sun and the nodal return?

The Art Train would be a huge success. The natural poetry of trains lends itself to this and the people would love it. A little advertising and the thing would go full steam ahead. I'd like to hear some ideas on how it would be coordinated.

I hate the Epiphone again. I'm trading it in for a Guild. A blond one would be my dream.
