I agree. A protest took place on a major intersection with bullhorns and signs, including the ones reading "9/11 Was An Inside Job." Mostly white faces but a few non-whites present. Next to it, the farmer's market was having its final day. Shopping and protesting. The true American way.
Also, 2 friends and 2 acquaintances ALL called yesterday to report they had developed some illnesses or had received some serious diagnosis from a doctor. Saturn in Virgo, anyone?
Reporting in from the left coast...
a full day of people at my open studio. The mobs of the past few years did not come but a steady trickle of pleasant people stopped in.
Mostly my guests were from the fire areas. They were glad to get away for a weekend to camp in the park or visit friends.
They were full of gratitude. Some had been evacuated some had family members in the fire's path. None had lost their homes. They came out to re-connect with nature in the national park and saw the sign, stopped and stayed for a while. Resting.
Easing the tension.
Always, i find the visitors pleasant but this year a grounded calm that usually isn't felt among these city dwellers was apparent. They thanked me over and over for creating serenity...
When i said goodbye to the last of them i felt very humbled and full of gratitude myself, reminded how beautiful this place is, Earth.

Easing the tension.
There might be a lot of this ahead. The earth is changing and it just stands to reason that we are too. We're part of nature, after all.
People are all right. They have many redeeming characteristics. It's easy to forget when the bad news dominates and not-so-nice people in the spotlights continue their games, but there're calm and spots good people all over the country.
The Taurus Moon has finally taken effect.:-)

Heh, is there a link between windows and headaches?
A high-powered client just told me yesterday that, despite having a cleaning service come in once a week, she often likes to do a little of the housework herself. She said it made her feel peaceful and relaxed. I said, "Some people would say it has to do with your astrological sign." She's a Moon child.
Oh! That reminds me: gotta vaccuum. I never get headaches, but it's due. :-)
