Hi jm, this more rightly belongs in the music thread, but I had to add to joe's comment...
I do notice a difference between live and 'canned' music. I LOVE to dance and I feel moved to dance to just about anything live; (I make it a habit to go to funk shows...)...I grew up in IL and while I am not a fan, to say the least, of country music, I could easily dance to country bands when they came around, it's the energy of the people who make the music that matters.... And mr merton Picklebee can come with us to the Himalayas (by the way, I accept :) )and to see parliament/Funkadelic any ol' time he wants....:)Juno

OMG! Parliament Funkadelic!

All cultures have live music and dance. I think it's vital to survival. I also think we need more here. I've heard Mr.Picklebee say so, and he's somewhat of an expert.

I will post his rules of living soon.

MMM, parliment just happens to be playing right now on sing-sing radio (www.sing-sing.org) as I pop this up...been having the craziest music synchronicities today... was reading Eric francis's blog and he mentions passing a dying man in the street today...just as Beatles 'Day in the Life' comes on...Have you explored internet radio much? I know it's digital, but there are some amazing stations out there that don't take genre for an answer... I'm feeling quite the energy going into this full moon...and so much relief that the nodes have gone into pisces, I mean, the whole energy has shifted pretty much. I'm feeling very centered. Good vibes, Juno

Juno! I'm so happy. I know you had the ol' interpersonal blues for a moment. I also feel the overall vibe improved. I think the Pisces nodes will bring us lots of relief in our sharing of fantasy and being given the green light to transcend. More are doing that right now than usual. We'll be having tests of this coming up. The Spook Factor vs the Good Vibe.

I love to dance, love funky music, and I fully intend to do so. I also love funny funky people. The others can murder one another and hate if they enjoy that sort of thing, But I really don't have quite enough time left not to do what I love and want.

The synchronicity levels are high at Pisces Chronicles tonight. In fact, P.C. perfectly fits the nodal shift.

The Internet radio? Are you kidding? I'm too busy talking to listen.

I'm so glad you're feeling better.

Well, you folks are wonderful. I'd heard about you, and word was about that your conversations are quite good. Informative, sincere, multidimensional, and funny.
These are things I am interested in myself, so I came by to say hello, and I can tell you, I am not disappointed
You are highly intriguing. And I do share your interest in music as well.

Very nice to meet you.

Juno, I'm feeling the same shift in energy. The overall tone has improved over the last day or so. Who knows, maybe just the moon moving into Gemini . . . :-)

Now I must tend to business since I'm at work . . . novel idea, yes?!

jm-I love Mr Merton Picklebee and I love your site-on to my bookmarks it goes.
I thought you were female. Isn't that funny how I sexed you in my imagination? Guess it was all the creativity and sensitivity that made me come to that conclusion. Looking forward to knowing more about you.

Merton, my friend.

Now that I have your attention... knowing you have some expertise in the sciences, I have so many questions. I understand you will be leaving soon for a study of the mating habits of a rare species of praying mantis in Pontresina, Switzerland. I'm interested in this and some of the other things you've been doing lateley and I'm so glad to have this opportunity to chat with you.

Correct, jm.

I will be departing by ship on August 15. As you know I don't fly in that greedy gobbling modern monstrosity, the jet airplane. It interferes with the flying patterns of some of our precious sky creatures.

I will be joining three of my associates, you might know them. Ms. Gloria Perez Vandervoort, Mr. Stephen Jerome Francis III, and Mr. Mort Johnson.
I have been interested in this insect for many decades and am looking forward to the journey.

There is an extremely rare species of Monarch butterfly in Bhutan I've been meaning to study, so perhaps I could join you on the trip to the Himalayas, and enjoy some pleasure mixed with work.

That would be wonderful. Great part of the world.

Apologies, jm. That was me, Merton. I understand there is a Mercury retrograde in progress now and I tend to get discombobulated rather easily, and quite a bit moreso under these retrogrades.

I must pay strict attention.

Oh clymela. What a pleasure. You were absolutely right! I am a lady. The "I am my owm man" part was a generic term, meaning I am my boss.

I love your input, and I'm delighted that you are around. Thanks so much. This will be fun, especially when Jupiter goes into Sag.

Yah, that Pisces can be carrying around $150,000 in loan draw checks in his wallet & loose the darn thing!!! Well, at least temporarily misplace it under his car seat...... It's fascinating to watch him switch to his Capricorn ASC/mars energy to do business transactions. Then we can chat about personal things (his S/O is a very good, long time friend of mine) and it's total mutable Pisces sun/Gemini moon. A true mutable person!

neith(what a lovely name), as an individual who sometimes loses track of things, I can well relate to this Pisces/Gemini fellow. In fact, I have a Venus in Pisces, myself.

I daresay you people are charming. Very bright and creative. I'm off to a meeting of the Philosophical Society now and I am looking forward to the continuing stream of quips, quotes, and ideas.
Wonderful.

I must add before I dash out the door that I have known jm for a long time and she is quite the lady, indeed.
Once you get to know her, I think you will enjoy her as I invariably do.

Neith LOL as you described your Pisces boss screw up everything only to come out in first place. I have had two very important Pisces/mutable dominant people in my life and I still marvel at driving in circles ,lost, only to end up exactly where we wanted to be or watching my Pisces room mate play with the potatoes that needed to be cooking for a large holiday party and just as my little gemini/fixed dominant brain was about to short circit she presents the potatoes for me to put on the stove. I was there all along and I swear she never really touched those potatoes just played around with them while talking about something.
Well, jm glad to get the gender thing clarified although ,I guess, it doesn't matter in this realm.
Thanks for this site-I love the graphics and photos and Mr Merton Pickles is great and maybe I can catch the ship for the next cruise.
Juno Jones, I don't know about internet radio but would like to. I am a radio fanatic always listening to something except when praying or meditating or sleeping. Prefer non-commercial radio but put up with commercials for Randi Rhoades

Pisces people are far scarier than any other sign . . . at least to those of us fixed types. And I know just what you're saying, Clymela, god help us!!

jm, you are the only person I know that develops a whole new persona just so they can talk to themselves . . . LOL!!!

Clymela, you must join us on the cruise to the Himalayas. It might happen sooner than we think.

Neith, I think I'm beginning to manifest the eccentricities of old age. Speaking of Pisces, One that I worked with was alone with me in the store one night so I thought. I heard the murmer of voices in the back and in my confusion I went to the craft section and there she was, by herself, carrying on a long conversation. She was so much fun. Very kind to me. A Christian zealot too. Invited me to her pie parties with the church ladies.
And so Pisces.

I had to learn to entertain myself through the years as so many others were preoccupied with god-knows-what. It's serving me well now because I simply cannot take any more of the people in the news. I have reached my limit.

There will be others joining Mr. Picklebee.

Hello Mr Picklebee, et al, your insect studies sound very interesting!

Clymela, the radio thing is quite simple and fun, our computer geek showed it to us when we needed music at the shop...go to the i-tunes website and download the free version of their program (I'm sure there are others on C-net or something, but I have only used this one...). When you bring up i-tunes, choose 'radio' from the menu, then the genres will pop up. My fave section is the 'eclectic', especially radio sing-sing (as I mentioned, but radio paradise is good too, if a bit more conventional, I also listen a lot to the various flavors of'SomaFM', which is in reality broadcasting from a garage in San Jose... there is literally a world of music there, most of it is commercial-free, although they occasionally ask for contributions to pay for music liscening fees, etc, like any 'public' station (need to send 'em a couple o'bucks soon, we play this stuff all the time at work...)

Oh God, Pisces=no sense of direction?, it that what has driven me mad all my life? My husband has jupiter in pisces and he can get lost driving in a city that he's lived in for years...He's called me at 3 in the morning asking me where he is and how to get home....I have to navigate when we go on long trips...(chuckle)I haven't thought of this in years but it makes sense now... I had several friends that I hung out with in my misspent youth, three of whom I recall to be pisces. We used to go across the border to WI to go to bars because the drinking age was 18 there. I would usually drive home because I knew the back roads and have an excellent sense of direction...thus avoiding the cops who patrolled the main hiway looking to arrest teenagers like ourselves re-entering the state w/beer, etc. One night I had more than I should have, and while I slept in the back seat, my three piscean friends (and a taurus) decided to use the back roads to get home. I woke up just as the car ran out of gas in the wisconsin dells...about two hours north of where we started. Good thing we did too, they were convinced that if they kept driving they'd hit IL sooner or later...by circumnavigating the globe, maybe... Well, gotta get to work here, talk to youse more later! Juno

Thank you for this site and all the info and shared experience.
jm wish I had access to my other folks/personalities so that I too could just withdraw from the world right now. I think I will stay away from the news today and focus on my personal world. Who knows I might meet some new friends,
Merton Picklebee. I love insects although I don't have your scientific approach. I love them for their outrageous beauty and dedication.
Juno Jones thank you sooo much for the info. This reminds me of my "misspent youth" of the sixties and early seventies when all the creative music was underground and so were we.
What a wonderful start to my day. Love to you whacky wonderful creative people. Hopefully we can all make the cruise to the Himlalayas. I am sure there are many insects there infinately more inspiring than the humans I have been studying the past few days and insects have a much more evolved sense of fashion and color than most of those in the news these days and they are so unassuming and quiet.
