The New Year's Eve Entertainment Has Arrived.

For your dancing pleasure.....
Everything I do gonna be funky
From now on
Everything I do gonna be funky
From now on

Never before have I felt so good
Just being natural me
Minor hangups and minor ties
But deep inside I'm free
So let your hair down, get down get with it
Who can say what's right or wrong

Everything I do gonna be funky
From now on
Yeah, everything I do gonna
be funky
From now on.

And for the Gloom and Doomers......
And for a few laughs..... a brilliant comedian.

Welcome 2007!!!!
Comedian Bert Williams. Funky by Lee Dorsey.

In celebration of the "New Renaissance" I hired a traditional band to do some old standards.

Alright! me an Zamma are ready, she is already dreaming the new world into being, adding a big sonorous puuuurrrr to the trio. Let me tell you she liked your song -being funky...one of her favorite things :-> We could learn a thing or two from cats IMO.
I have a new visitor here, a grandfather Bobcat. He has a lot of scars and his fur is white tipped at the ends. I believe he could tell a tale or two about being natural.

Well if it is any indicator, today was remarkably nice. I had to be out in the low desert, usually a madhouse of tourists and aggressiveness. Politeness reigned everywhere. People were happy to converse while standing in line. A nice gentle soft edge. My mother and i were comparing this to last new years eve when the tension was palpable.

I love the hexagram for joyous. Pleasure which flows one into another, the lakes fill each other. Wouldn't that be nice? A recognition that greed; holding on to what you have separate from others, makes it evaporate faster. As i lit my candle tonight this was my image.

I just completed thislittle ritual a few minutes ago, and I feel significantly different. It's going to be a great year and I know I will discard what I want to rid myself of, and take on what I asked for.

Happy 2007! <:o9 <-- smiley with a party hat and little roll-up tooting horn!

Hey hey everybody! We're gonna make it good. Funky and all!

I prefer the odd numbered years for some reason.

Excellent idea, tseka. I'm lighting three.

This joyous lake thing is a new/old development for me, being so singular and self taught. the hexagram told me a thing or two.

Now to check out joe's ritual.

I can't help but think that this round the clock conversation and road to understanding are going to bring great rewards.

I suddenly got the most wonderful feeling. You know that one I've mentioned in the solar plexus. Your comments and spirits just gave me a lift I can hardly describe.

We are in excellent shape. Let's help one another through the year.... enduring the difficulties as well as celebrating the high spots. It's going to be full.

Oh the lakes. Ideas for new songs.

I love the image. fresh water lakes in pristine natural surroundings.

The most beautiful lake I know is Lake winnipasakee in New Hampshire. Clear to the sandy bottom. What a beautiful country we have.

The idea of lakes merging is a gorgeous one.

I can smell the fresh water now surrounded by pines. I normally think of streams, but lakes are different. Still, quiet, filling and evaporating silently. Underground streams, rain, and gentle fish.

And tadpoles!!!

AND NEWTS!

And speaking of lakes. In a couple of days we have the Full Moon in Cancer. A beautiful one with the Sagittarius New Moon preceding. The truth and kowledge of Sagittarius flowing together with the deep feeling of Cancer. Fire and water.

It all makes sense.

My Cancer Sun, Moon in Sag. Tseka's Sag Sun, ruler in Cancer.
Juno's Sag Sun, NN in Cancer.

The lakes of understanding.

Only glitch is joe's SN in Cancer but we'll guard it..:-)

Just love the whole idea of the lakes, jm. It's very fitting . . :-) Though my Scorpio water tends to be more of the still, deep forest pool . . .
