About Me
- Name: jm
I am a brilliant creation of the universe formed from the cosmic protoplasm sailing into eternity. I have two hands, two feet, a couple of great ears, and I'm clipping through life at a moderate pace; minding my p*s and q*s, crossing my t*s, dotting every i.

Beautiful jm . . . though I'll have to pass on the treats for now. Maybe at New Year's the body will allow a teeny sip! :-)
You are being a tease now JM. Food and wine? Oh My! I might have to start getting my "hug on" in full swing.
those whipering wineglasses again!...peace on earth, goodwill towards men (and wo-men!) for real this time, love ya all!, merry christmas, solstice, saturnailia, hannukah, mithras-day, osiris-day,etc, etc, ad nauseum! I haven't ben as much on the internet lately (detox?)but I've noticed many others making the same descisions to focus on ourselves, our community and to no longer give energy to the illusion (maya). We are the wave, I raise my glass in thanks and awe to the wonderful people here... Take care all, Juno
A teeny sip at New Years would be wonderful neith!
((((((Donnie)))))))!!
Yup juno. Those good 'ol whispering wineglasses.
I've noticed many others making the same descisions to focus on ourselves, our community and to no longer give energy to the illusion (maya).
I'll drink to this. It's wonderful getting a tiny glimpse of you!
Forgive me for being late on chiming in on previous comments, JM. At any rate, this Lunar Cap says that Capricorn isn't necessarily about doom and gloom at all. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, and that energy of earthy realism tends to be rather SERIOUS, with Saturn being the strict taskmaster and all ("Get it done, RIGHT and NOW!"). However, I will personally testify that there IS certainly a desire to cut loose from the seriousness, even if only but for a few moments.. and well-planned moments at that.
Structure... hmmm... what do I see presently on the rise and breaking out into the mainstream after Pluto enters Capricorn in 2008? Ballroom Dancing. Vaudeville. Burlesque. To name a few things. Probably well-structured classical music will experience a renaissance/transformation. But then, I would say that of instrumental music in general. True and talented vocalists in all genres will probably experience a surge.
Capricorn is the very essence of architecture as well. I'm certain that this energy when squared by Uranus in Aries will produce some very creative and revolutionary results, in our cities and many places.
Personally, I just want the trains to come back. ;-)
I love trains, myself neo. In every way. Travel, songs, poetry, romance, desire. The sound of the train whistles at night across town is ecstasy. The longing for other worlds and new adventures.
They'll be running.
Remember that old one?
This train is bound for glory, this train
This train is bound for glory, this train
This train is bound for glory
Dont carry nothin' but the righteous and the holy
This train is bound for glory, this train.
Yup. They'll run.
I'm with you on the trains. Such elegance and beauty. I have also been entertaining notions of resuming an interrupted hobby of building landscapes for miniature train sets, the way we did when I was a kid. :o)

YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the greatest hobbies known to man. The train hobby shops are a dream come true, but you can build the parts all yourself.
sigh everyone (almost) is here for the holidays. Juno and Neo so, so glad to you both. Wonderful.
And this surprises me. I thought no one would be around. I think this realm is becoming more real by the nanosecond.
Even neith in her weakened condition made it in. If I had known I never would have posted food!
What a day will do.
It's good to be here with you, Tseka. And JM, Joe, neith, juno, donnie and everyone else. I finally get a break from work to visit with you all. ;-)
We love you, neo.
Your old friends are here, hangin out, and not waiting any longer for joy and good times.
I've been traveling by train for 20 years.
Every trip is wild, but the last last train trip I took was the wildest. I got into a card game late at night with a triple Aries and a little whiskey. That was an experience. She was very very nice, but definitely super strong. I needed the strength for what was ahead when I reached my destination... family.
I was smoking back then and the smoking room was the most hilarious, uproarious place I've ever been in. I sang a capella for them and they went bezerk. then I did a comedy routine in the bar that had them on the floor. We partied all the way to Chicago, and then to New York.
Trains are like that. The in-between and freedom. It's not for everyone though, since they are extremely intimate. You can't get from here to there without touching someone.
The staff is wonderful, the food is like home-cooking, the rocking motion is so comforting, and the people are exceptionally warm and fun loving. It's another dimension. very safe.
I love trains and always will.
Oh, and the porters practically tuck you in at night.
Mm, trains. I recently found a fun song, about trains, for my godkids.
Fear of Barney (funny interview with musician)
Catch That Train:
video | RealPlayer audio | lyrics
...We’ll look out of the window
And watch the world go flying past
Every rivertown and village
As they come and go so fast
We’ll fill the day with memories
I know they’re gonna last
So catch that train...
It’s a topsy turvy world that
We’re all living in today
Let’s take a trip before the
Summer sun has gone astray
When we ride, we ride together
And so I say
Catch that train...
Trains are one of those things that inspire poetry and music like mad. Similar to the Moon. Actually train trips have a lot of Cancer characteristics. Associated with the homeless too.
jm, I love your description of the train up there. :o)
Joe, once again, I'm so happy to have people like you so express myself with.
I think we're all getting even better with words, if that's possible..:-)
BTW, I'm going to post your father's chart and we can look at it together so you can see how it's read.
The feeling is mutual. I've waited a long time for a group like this.
And I look forward to the chart! :o)
Hot diggity i'm looking forward to this chart too. My brother is a Capricorn and the man i lived with for 26 years. They both baffle me.
26 years?
Joe's father's chart is very very interesting and very Capricorn. The connection between the two is exceptional. You'll see it clearly.
So tseka. Mars in the chart often descibes our brothers. Your Mars conjunct Saturn is your Cap brother. Neptune is there too. Is he the one with the disability? Also the ruler of the 3rd house (siblings) in the 8th (death) is often the death of a sibling. You have that. Venus in the 8th. So it means it's significant in a deep way. Saturn in the 7th is your Cap partner.
It's all amazing.
Well, if nothing else, I at least am reaching a degree of acceptance of why he's so baffling (to borrow Tseka's term)!
Is he the one with the disability?
Yes- Cerebral Palsy / Deaf
Also the ruler of the 3rd house (siblings) in the 8th (death) is often the death of a sibling. You have that. Venus in the 8th.
Yes, my younger brother was Venus, a Taurus Sun opp my Venus. Additionally my Descendant was his Ascendant and we had same degree Virgo moon...before he was born i would lay my head on my mothers tummy, listening, i couldn't wait for him to arrive, what a gift!
at least am reaching a degree of acceptance of why he's so baffling (to borrow Tseka's term)!
Soon he will be less so.
The chart can interpret these events in our lives and show how they contribute to our character and destiny. Sometimes a death, for example won't show up, so it has less significance for that person.
The death of a sibling is one of the hardest. We share the same genetic make-up with them, and them only. They're closer to us than our parents.
There could be many reasons for the experience karmically, but death in the wise ones adds wisdom and knowledge, and a dimension of feeling unique to the experience.
The Venus ruling the Libra stellium adds even more potency o this part of the chart. I'd take a good thorough look at this house.
The Mars/Saturn conjunction
reveals great difficulties, and the Neptune which descrbes both brothers is the soul deepening which can some back in all your life's relationships and of course, affect the healing.
Maybe later this winter we can get into some of these aspects from a karmic
perspective. Take each chart.
