War and Metaphysics

In case anyone is worried about the Middle Eastern war we are laboring with and the out-of-control politicians, I have a few words.
The trap was illuminated in yesterday's veto of an exit exactly under the Scorpio full moon. The situation casts a pall on everyone's lives in some way, no matter how detached the individual is. Relief will come eventually.
The United States will not be getting out of Iraq until the lesson is completely learned and the elimination of the Republican Party in its current incarnation is accomplished. The war started at 29 Pisces, destined to go nowhere. Mars is transiting Pisces now. Uranus (liberation) gets to 29 Pisces in May 2010, and again in March 2011, with Mars joining. The exit started at the entrance under these conditions, and in the next couple of years things will be changing as Saturn heads to the USA return in Libra and Pluto goes into Capricorn. There is a plan. A bigger issue is at work in the area than what is obvious, and all the participants have destinies gradually unfolding.

There is a good reason for this drawn out exit. It is a culmination of horrendous foreign policy decisions as Pluto leaves Sagittarius (foreign lands), and this country is scheduled to change direction, as her Mars goes retrograde by progression, and the conflict comes home to solve her internal problems. The debate has already started as the halls of Congress are reverberating. The real debate is forthcoming. The transformation of this nation's own natal Mars is complete after the Pluto opposition, but will take time to come into full manifestation.
In the meantime, it is the height of wisdom to realize that all of these politicians are mere pawns in the cosmic strategy.
Pluto will soon be transiting the last quadrant of the wheel affecting collective consciousness. Violence is steadily trending downward in the world, and Pluto, being in charge of collective evolution, could be guiding the people toward progress, however infinitesimal from an individual perspective. We will see. I find the metaphysical angle to be fascinating and informative, as I make the most of my life within the world at large.

I just found this in my e-mail.

This is a powerful message for all of us who either get depressed or angry about life and the circumstances that surround us each day!!!

Dr. Hans Eysenck has reported on a 20+ year study of over 13,000 Europeans, who had been evaluated as adults and while healthy, that those with a lifelong personality measured as hopeless lived an average of 35 years less than those who tested initially as autonomous, similar to self-actualized as defined by Maslow. Seventy-five percent of those who died of cancer within the study period were Type I or lifelong depressed; 15% of the cancer deaths were in lifelong angry (Type II) individuals and 9% of the cancer deaths were in individuals who were both depressed and angry (Type III). Indeed, only 0.8% of cancer deaths were in the autonomous group (Type IV)! Those dying of heart disease were roughly similar: 75% Type 2, 15% Type I and about 9% Type 3. So, overall, 99% of the individuals dying of cancer or heart disease were depressed, angry or both.

This is, I think, why the anti-war protests and rallies, movements to start impeachment proceedings, and so forth, have all come to nothing over the years. We are taking a required course in the university of life and there's no way out but through.

So Saturn in Libra is an accounting in the arena of balance and justice?

Joe, I wish more people saw it as clearly as you do. The truth of your comment is beyond doubt.

Saturn is balance and justice, yes, as well as rational debate, compromise, and equitable agreements, all fundamental characteristics of this country. And solid sound relationships.
I expect us to get a little more serious soon. Everyone can play a part.

We all want a good place to live, and I am hoping to see the end of the lynch mob mentality and infantile behavior that have dominated. Adult debate might be too much to ask for, but anything's possible.

The US Prog Saturn went Retrograde for the first time 10 years ago and is just starting to pick up speed. The US has steadily become more prominent on the world stage since its inception, but it has inevitably led to hubris, and I think Prog Saturn, along with Prog Mars, will bring about a necessary reversal of its fortunes.

I find it difficult to even think about the war. It makes me want to break down and cry.
On that note, have a lovely day folks, I'm off to work.

The retrograde of Saturn could be why the societal depression has revealed itself as so threatening recently. I thought Clinton was a glaring symptom of this and was shocked that no one saw it, denial being so much a part of the problem.

It took the cartoon garishness of Bush to get through. With the serious depression, the people have made a cheap vaudeville comedy star out of him trying to laugh and mask the underlying malaise. And now with the Pluto return the seriousness is facing the country.
Intersting with the retrograde settling in and this upcoming transit in Saturn ruled Cap.

Speaking of fortune reversals, the Pluto will be opposing the USA Venus/Jupiter conjunction first and soon. As if Pluto through the 1st house weren't enough, the Jupiter (luck and abundance) rules the first. Venus, materialism. Makes me think the inherent good fortune of the country is up for review until it comes clear. Interesting how the money was squandered as a prelude.
