Motion and Progress

The sign of Aries, and its ruler Mars, mark the beginning of earthly life when humans know they are going somewhere. They look across the terrain and plot their paths. Mars is bent on going directly to a chosen destination.

At the end of the wheel, in Pisces, ruled by the planet Neptune, the journey is complete. There's nowhere else to go but perhaps into other worlds, often found to be of an imaginary nature.

When Neptune aspects Mars, or Neptune falls in the first house of a chart, or Mars is found in Pisces, the path potentially taken is sometimes convoluted, nebulous, and perplexing or confusing. The transiting planets highlight such things.

When the United Sates was born in 1776, Mars was positioned at 21 Gemini. Neptune was square at 22 Virgo. And now, transiting Neptune in Pisces has joined this square, squaring Mars and opposing Neptune for about a year.

A route to nowhere is a possibility.
Sometimes under Neptune's influence communications  go awry. Gemini with Virgo likes to analyze and explain in detail, but marrying these observations with reality can be elusive or not even quite feasible under these circumstances.

Simultaneously, truth seeking Pluto is transiting opposite Mars in Gemini's ruler, Mercury. "Where on earth is truth hiding?" Mercury might ask. "Will it hurt?" being in Cancer.

Neptune can reflect fraud, trickery, and deceit, and even though these things happen ordinarily, with Neptune in Pisces aspecting the country's planets, people are sensing more than usual that something is amiss. Delusion masquerades as reality and reality appears to have found an ideal hiding place. The millions of Virgoan facts, figures, graphs, charts, and numbers don't quite add up.

So people in America are wondering what is really happening and where the nation is going exactly. No one is in charge and the path ahead is obscured by scattered perceptions among the citizens. Some see this, some see that. Some see dark clouds, others don't see much of anything, and some see shimmering utopia. Are any of these real? Neptune doesn't seem ready to tell just yet.

All is never lost. Blocks to forward progression create altered routes. Humans get "there" anyway. There's something to be discovered in Neptune's convolutions while arrival at a preconceived destination is on hold.

Very, very interesting especially with regards to the USA transits. Venus, Sun, Moon all adding to Neptunian square at the moment.

Before Neptune was discovered Jupiter ruled Pisces. Kadimiros wrote about some multiplicity of Pisces maybe Joop has some influence?

It really is interesting. I didn't think about it much and a few days ago Mars Neptune hit me. I took a good look at the aspect. There's a lot there regarding sickness and health, the Pisces-Virgo axis. The false belief in group sickness should get attention.

The inability to extricate ourselves from the virus trap could be Neptune, not finding a path out. It's a psychological malady. We need belief in our health and strength to struggle for freedom now. The path will come clear when we're ready.

There's been talk about the 10th amendment and the state's right to nullification. Could be a path.

I find that charts with Pisces Virgo dilemmas usually include sickness, either in themselves, in the family, or with others, as in caretaking. Often a person is found caring for a parent in a long term way...illness, substance abuse, things like that.

Virgo works toward health, Pisces often doesn't care, doesn't mind suffering. Self sacrifice and all. So these family situations are complex.

The Virus phenomenon is not what it seems. The fear is of something else, something unnamed. The people are going on as if they were all bandaged(masks) and crippled not fully taking in the breath of life. The vaccine is a psychological thing, too, since it doesn't prevent infection.

The cripple factor makes me think it's a basic spiritual malaise. They've cut themselves off from fully living, circulating, touching, and communicating. The undercurrent of Piscean sorrow is there. People instinctively want to help others to some extent and they are unable to that fully with all the artificial distancing. There's Neptune futility in all the remedies that don't work.

So we'll see as time goes on. Maybe people will realize they are, in fact, healthy. Relatively. Now the conclusion of this phase is the story.

Wow what an analysis. Every bit makes sense. I've been absolutely shocked by friends of intelligence succumbing to this irrational fear of covid. They blow me off citing “experts” it's like a mass hypnotic hallucination.

The vax may help unify us. Some are all in but others see the dangers of this experimental “therapy” and are refusing.

The self-help health movement has had B and I pulling our hair out for years. Recommendations by people with experience and training are of no greater weight than the clerk behind the counter at the health food store or the ads on TV. It ends up being self sabotage. Then the whine comes.

Virgo might work hard towards health but they have in my experience the most chronic illnesses. Hyper-fixated.

Jupiter enters Pisces in May maybe the planet will inject a dose of gumption.

Corona viruses naturally wane and disappear. We are approaching that end point. What will we do when it's gone?

Totally. "A mass hypnotic hallucination". There must be something big we're afraid to see. The good thing is that all the pipe dreams are probably part of it, so political predictions are impossible. We are lost. A good thing in my opinion.

You've got a point about hyper-fixated Virgo. Pisces is the ultimate fix in its recognition of futility and urge for transcendence. Maybe we can take a tiny step toward accepting life as it is. We can't defeat microbes. We can't defeat life itself, even with the death of life forms.

They all look like they're headed for Lourdes. Are we on a collective pilgrimage? Where does sickness come from? It never goes. Are we more frightened of health than sickness? We just do what we can which is enough. Superstition and fact get all mixed up. The self sabotage that you mention is an excellent point. The practices on this one are absurd. Are these experts from outer space?

The last time Neptune was in Pisces, Marx and Engels rose with their love of godlessness. Scientism will prove to be just as inadequate. The spiritual longing never abates. Progressed USA Sun is also in Pisces now. It's all so odd that a common situation is being dealt with so irrationally. Paranoia is no picnic. Pisces covers mental disorders. That's one big clue to somatic health right there.

Great great great question about what we'll do when it's gone. Move on to the next conundrum probably.

Most of what is known is understood in retrospect.

The question I ask is what can one little human do? You figure in especially with your Pisces NN. It's all there to be accessed. We both can lead by example with our norths in the first. I do it by caring for my body with great zeal, you do it in spiritual ways.

I had a sublimely beautiful moment the other day. There was a very pregnant very young woman in the hot tub. Her belly was like a work of art and I was entranced. Later in the locker room we got to talking and it was classic Pisces. She was adopted, came from abuse, works as a care-taker, and feels humanity's suffering. We talked about that and the capacity for goodness we also have as a collective. The feeling flowed between us unchecked. She's so wise. They are among us.

One thing I think about collective unity and direction is the ebb and flow of real threats that firm up group survival cohesion, such as WWII. They like that effort, the feeling of courage against great odds, and the sense of power and significance. This one misses the category. So people are wandering around as usual waiting to coalesce. Maybe that's part of the times. Maybe separation is more advantageous. I still think the emotional distance of Aquarius is part of the difficulty, and "ideally" His Virulence is an educator.

People cluster together. They snatch everything and they share everything. You take your chances.

Marketing dear T.
Big pharma has great marketing.
Trump is a master at branding and marketing. Look at those rallies. People lined up for miles.

These are not exactly two sides of a coin but sure seem to underscore your comment about wanting to be part of something greater.
It has not jelled yet.

Your point about WWII is well taken. If we continue down the path Biden's administration is laying out we may actually get that kind of cohesion again.

Locking people down did not activate our Mars, we need action to feel part of the solution. On the political front people are getting involved. The covid mess will end when it's no longer useful or people outright rebel as we see in Europe.

Dratted daylight savings. I prefer the winter standard time it's in synch with my natural rhythms.

Such is life. The government has to have their hands in our lightbulbs and setting time. I'm sure you rejoiced when Trump allowed return of incandescent bulbs.
