A Hard Knock

I'm always stunned....absolutely stunned ....to be connected with this creature as an Aries rising.
What kind of head is that that can grow those things?
And what kind of brain can get knocked so hard you can hear it 150 miles across the valley?
Man!

Wow. What a wonderful idea to actually look at a ram when thinking of Aries. I get so locked into vague, somewhat abstract ideas of things when so much more can be learned from going to the thing itself.

I'm so much better today. Not completely well, but well on the way. Thank you for the advice Tseka -- this way I know to continue the remedy, which I otherwise probably would not have done.

And I LOVED the chick magnet costume, Joe. And the story of your artist dressed up, jm. I wrote a story once which began with a guy dressed as geisha for Halloween -- he said it was the best day of his life. Shortly after that I was at a Halloween party and met a man dressed as a geisha -- of course I promptly fell in love. The other night I was out with a friend, and there were lots of men, though not in drag, in costumes that brought out their feminine sides, and they were enjoying it so much. One real woman, probably used to being the center of attention, was having a terrible time because her boyfriend was outdoing her in the beauty department.

LOL! Her boyfriend probably has Venus on the Ascendant . . . Libra or Gemini.

I've heard that sound when those ram's heads collide....lots of bone & horn to protect those little brains. Gotta tell a story on my Aries . . . he hates Daylight Savings Time, so rather than biting the bullet & retiring that hour later, he insists on sleeping on his old schedule.....therefore, it takes him days longer to adjust to the change. He also has a tight square between Uranus in Cancer & his Sun in Aries - translates as "Mr. Independent and Proud of It". :-)

Me too!!

Juju, I'm delighted. It's great to see quick results.

Excellent point. I love the symbols of the signs and contemplating them directly does say so much. Whenever I get one of my frequent headaches, this ram explains it all. Better a fleeting ache than ramming someone on the head!

Libra rising's symbol is the balance scales and often this depiction is a beautiful one. I think these symbols pinpoint the essence and maybe just looking at them connects us. I like the balance factor the best about Libra and I can always count on things to correct themselves with my heavy Libra. The Libran type automatically will seek the opposite neutralizing force repeatedly.

Great story about the geisha. The whole geisha thing is fascinating.

Can you describe it neith?

As a kid I knew a whole family that refused to go on Daylight Savings Time. They were farmers, raised pigs, were super argumentative, sent their kids to fancy private schools, and had very little furniture. I seem to remember sitting around on milk crates.

So today in AOL news was the headline 7 pains you shouldn't ignore

Interesting. What does ignore mean? If you're able to "ignore" it maybe that's telling the story. It warns about serious implications. I am one who leaves it alone to see what it does and usually it goes away. I trust that my self will tell me if it's serious. I wonder how much this fear exacerbates and ruins things. I'm amazed sometimes when symptoms come that should be scaring me, that I adjust and trust the road ahead.
I have great medical books and can always diagnose everything I get rapidly.

This is so true. It can do that before you even notice it happening! There have been times when I said, "hey, wait a minute!" because i was automatically moving to balance out a situation & that wasn't the best option.

My experience with the sound of the ram's butting heads was a cracking sound - reminiscent of the sound of a large caliber rifle shot. That 150 miles has to be in ideal conditions - like in the mountains of Canada with nothing between you & the source of the sound. I wonder if they get punch drunk like boxers do after too many blows to the head.

Very very interesting. I've never heard a Libra say this. And this says a lot about the Libra/Scorpio conflict. Scorpio likes to go all the way. No light tripping back and forth.

Ha Ha!!! I wonder too. I thought maybe they have some kind of brain like a walnut encased in a hard shell. Rifle cracking is their game. They've got some nerve to play these games high on mountain trails.
