THE DIEBOLD DRAGON

This woman is about to vote.
Voting is important. I wouldn't let a monster scare me. The buttons are located on the bottom right between the first and second claws.
GO GIRL!!!!!!

Reminds me of the last presidential election -- I had to wait 2-1/2 hours to vote. We were in a line that snaked all around a large VFW center. Through rooms and up and down lines of folding chairs. Surrounded by Capital-C Christians reading religious tracts. I had my Yoga Journal magazine which I was reading. Kundalindi yoga -- the dragon's spine and breath.

don't forget to vote.

And because I have a song for any occasion:

Underneath the mask of the sulphur sky
A bunch of us were busy waiting,
Watching the people looking ill-at-ease,
Watching the fraying rope get closer to breaking

Women and men moved back and forth
In between effect and cause
And just beyond the range of normal sight
This glittering joker was dancing in the dragon's jaws

Let me be a little of your breath
Moving over the face of the deep--
I want to be a particle of your light
Flowing over the hills of morning.

Ah the joys of living in good 'ole Middle America! I will get my ballot in the mail today . . . I like voting by mail, using paper ballots & being able to study the issues w/ballot in front of me.

Next week may prove interesting indeed - as an observer anyway. Please remember that it will all unfold as it will . . . too stressful otherwise (at least that's what I keep telling myself . . with varying degrees of success . . :-)

"The Diebold Dragon"

Ha ha! Hmm, you know, that illustration is from an Eastern style "Beauty and the Beast" story.

Loved the dragon song Casey. I voted early today -- long long lines and a long crazy ballot. We got to choose between paper ballot or machine, so I avoided the dragon altogether. My county is so Dem that the Republicans don't even bother to run candidates in the local elections.

My county is so Republican that they hide the Democrats in the back room so you can't even find them.

It would be fantastic if the Diebold Dragon were faced and let go of with all this Scorpio. Fear of Voting is also part of this terror turd.

Things are oddly good in the air at the moment. I think this voting crisis has done its job and awakened many people as to its importance. I think overall there is much more awareness, and people are engaging in this act in a slightly new way.

Expecting destruction at every turn in life is crippling.

So Scorpio, Pluto and pain are supposed to lead us to greater pleasures as we face our monsters and diminish them.
Gee... I hope so.

Beautiful relaxed atmosphere in the city tonight. Sometimes the agonized struggle has to slacken. Sure do love it when it does.
What will be will be.
People were kicked back and enjoying their conversations. Good food everywhere and plenty of fine wine. Tried a new local brand and it was divine. Rocky Mountain Cabernet. Nothing like a big round voluptuous Taurus Moon!
