Silent Meditation Today

At dusk. All are welcome. Ringing of bells at 8. This is a special celebration in honor of Saturn at 29 degrees Leo marking the end of the two and one-half year transit. The dignity, reserve, and respect of silence will be followed by a farewell gala toasting the entire absence of leadership in this nation and the rise of the individual in society.

I read your call to meditation and invitation to toast the absence of leadership and rise of the individual in society.

My mind wandered.

To this place...the north tip of Vancouver Island. The time was 1974.

Wandering through the rainforest one could machete a path, turn to look behind and not see the trail.

Every so often we would stumble on an old chimney all that was left of a house. In the 1930s there were farms all along the coast. Scandinavians had settled and relied on the steamers to carry food and goods between Vancouver and Alaska.
During the black-out days of WW11 the steamers were dry-docked. The farms abandoned and in the span of only 30 years the farms were reclaimed by the forest. Hardly a trace remained.

I like this reminder that we are so insignificant.
So here is my toast: To dignity, reserve, and respect of silence.

I hope that we who are so insignificant can learn to use Saturn's strengths in Virgo to build well.

It feels like the right time to do this carefully, respectfully and with a tad less noise.

It's amazing how the feeling has descended. Humbleness, a new kind of significance. I'm in a daze welcoming these new days. Silence will be included henceforth.

Are you yearning for things well crafted, meant to last several generations?

When i studied Physics, i learned that Simple and Elegant solutions were usually correct. Simple and Elegant became watchwords for me.

Zen, Bauhaus, Shaker....
Do you think we are in for something similar?

OMG
Just out of curiosity i went to look up the Bauhaus movement. 1919-1933.

Want to guess where Saturn was? How about Urnaus?

Saturn just entered Virgo!
Uranus in Pisces.

ahahaha. I'm liking this better.

I personally think so. I can feel it right now, and the Capricorn will add. I am "simply" stopped in my motion today sensing this new elegance. The new spare quality.

Reduce and simplify seem like such obvious parts of the solution.

This is Virgo entirely. The distillation to essentials. I'm beginning to see how wise I was to wait.

I found myself not-talking today as I ran across people I like. It was understood all the way around. People were absorbing the silence and grace in the air.

Zen sounds so good. It would be a minor miracle if my love of this simplicity really pervaded and my music would make sense, but it does seem like there will be movement in that direction, judging from the atmosphere now.

I expected change, but frankly, not quite this much.

Patterns. the kaleidescope gets a little turn.

This is kinda fascinating if you think about it. The Germans were doing amazing things in the lead up to WW11.

Look at the little VW bug as one example.

You are so good, my dear Northwesterly friend.
This is increds. I can see beyond doubt how different the Virgo years are going to be. A return to simplicity is due, really, balance wise. The saturation point was finally reached.

The Saturn in virgo will oppose Uranus in Pisces for some time. Lots of crystalline clarity mixed with emotional essence. It does look good. Saturn and Virgo will bring pinpoint precision and poetic sharpness.

I am so longing for the elegant and simple.

The Neptune in Leo years produced some of the best.

You are absolutely right about the VW. It was so efficient no one could miss it.

I see great significance in the Pluto opposition to the Cancer years. The Virgo-Pisces possibilities change and move from the fearful protectionism-nationalism of Cancer. Hopefully we will be free from some of these global destructive worries.

Capricorn is architecture so I'm watching what happens in that field.

I can already sense the new serious tone.

The innovation, and for me, the importance of the move away from excess emotion of the sensational type, is going to go for a long time.

The Uranus-Saturn opposition will affect many areas and bring movement beyond borders. But then comes the major emergence of innovation with Uranus in Aries. After today, I have no doubt that emerging talent will be out front entirely very soon. In leadership as well. I'm almost feeling good.

The sublime

I think this is what has drawn me to the Sami poet. Simple yet spacious, beyond boundary. How many years to find the right rhythm, word?

Most of a lifetime.

Yes! The photo does speak in the new volume. Light, grace, and curve.

You've got me thinking about the Virgo-Pisces ahead. I have Mars-Neptune in the 6th and you, of course, are loaded with Pisces-Virgo. Will we be more comfortable out there?

I am extraordinarily simple in my work, but very very precise. My voice is so accurate that I hardly have a vibrato that wavers on each note for false effect. So my singing is uncommonly natural, like a child's without pretense.

I think Virgo does this. The removal of pretense as it reaches the essence.

The photo illuminates another aspect. Perfection in some way. It's okay to be beautiful after all. Her body is exquisite, acrobatic without the usual contortions of sports, circus, etc. The dramatic overkill.

No doubt whatsoever. I'm just getting started.

I do hope and pray that the space comes in and fills. The thing I love about B&W.

I see it in the piano keys in their black and whiteness. I see intervals with unusal spaces between them, not muddy chords, like so much jazz. I have a feeling these intervals are going to come to life.

And the editing I was working on? Now is the time.

I am in heaven. Blank space.

In medicine, 1919 the Nobel prize went to Jules Bordet for his work in understanding immunity.
The 20s gave us vitimins, insulin, and Penicillin.
Very interesting. different approach; strengthening was the idea.

Btw, 1919-1933. the absolute best time in American songwriting. The songs were beautifully crafted, not at all pretentious, and the lyrics were unique from song to song. Any subject at all was lyricized, all was musical, danceable, and poetic. Love was only part of the search. After WWII everything changed and the songs never regained the joy and innovation of these times.

You can see now the repetetive boredom in pop music, and that is due for breaking up. Even new talent these last years sounded hackneyed, one like the other.

How many years to find the right rhythm, word?

I read an interesting idea today: money is a utility.

Like water or electricity. It is useless sitting in our pocket. We take some out of the stream and put it back in. I'm going to let that sink in a bit.

In terms of the puzzle parts and the whole in dissaray... What happens to the whole is really not important to me. The glimpse of the accuracy, the perfection of the part, is enough to work with. So I feel it's what I do with the puzzle piece that counts. Virgo describes this. For awhile now, it's been an image of the piece, but suddenly I can almost grasp it.

I, also, will let this sink in. Capricorn, I use, and Virgo is utilitarianism. I know one thing. Money will have to be the electric (utility) spark for my next move. I must get my attitude adjusted pronto. I like the word, utility.

Money was a huge issue in the 20s and it is/will be a huge issue in this cycle.

Money as a utility instead of as a power over another could very well be the uranian approach we the people need to take.

These hints from the past are great. The music connection is real. There's no doubt that Uranus will favor innovation.

There is something to this immunity thing. And penicillin which changed human life so much. And vitamins which are becoming medicine now.

I'm going to tke a close look at the immunity factor as it's something I think about a lot for myself. Pluto square my Mars-Neptune in the 6th will be about my self defense and immunity is what I need. Saturn will be there too. I'll have to figure out a way to "utilize" what's in the bank.

So Pisces is a psychic lymphatic system too. How is health of this system maintained?

The whole immunity, vaccination approach were closely aligned with homeopathy the medicine of the day. they just used material dosages.

Homeopathy was IT until penicillin came in. The big shift happened in the 40's. War and battlefield demanded another approach.

We left energy medicine for war medicine and big pharma.

What a great great thought. And you are so right. 1929. Money. Look at the stock market now just on time. Money as gambling. Post depression people didn't quite see it that way.

That's why I am so anxious to see what develops. With the last transits, Pluto in Cancer revved up the insecurity. Hording, gambling, etc. Extremes. But Pluto in Capricorn is about solid and sound financial systems. Uranus in Aries could bring new developments along these lines. Aries, survivalism, money as utility. There might be a movement away from money and weaponry, especially here if the frightend Cancer energy can get toned down.

This is interesting. War medicine. Emergency mode. Big battles with enemies. Attack and kill all invaders. Very interesting.

Uranus in Aries again. That could change the war mode back to survival in a more fundamental way. Could be part of the 29 Pisces Iraq war, with so many transits to that point coming up. Uranus crossing is the one I'm watching.

Hmmmm.... We can't afford to practice medicine like this much longer. Pluto in Capricorn.

This also ties in the money as utility vs money as power. It's hard to imagine these things changing but a peek at history proves otherwise.

I think you're on to something with the money factor up for transformation. Just in time for me. They might just see the use for what I do.

The more I think about it, the more I see the signs. The shift to Capricorn. You can see it clearly on the blogs as the personal concerns battle with the collective. Dear Abby seems to be losing power.

Many of the online talks have been about personal aches, while some force seems to be moving the crowd toward more group concerns. In Capricorn this means letting personal hurts slide somewhat, moreso as the society works pointedly toward advancement. Uranus and Saturn will be pushing this agenda.

Many people resist this involvement, saying they just would like to tune it out and live right, but then what are they doing here, in such a collective gathering?

I see this going to new places in the Capricorn years, and Uranus starting a new cycle in Aries.

The opposition to the USA Cancer stellium will have many United Statesians crying about their lost tears and self pity. Too much societal improvement causing all that distraction.:-)
