The Rise of the Outraged

The combative planet, Mars, is exiting Aries after forming a square aspect with America's Pluto in Capricorn and transiting Pluto. The Mars motion was long and the urge for autonomy surged, even though it appears the populace was compliant with authority.

The long Aries transit also occurred square the big American stellium in Cancer - Sun, Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury - meaning the need for dependency and protection squared off against the battle for autonomy.

Included, as well, was an opposition to US Saturn in Libra, triggering a demand for justice.

Authority's squeeze has been unrelenting and the fight in people is strong. With nearly six months of pure Aries input, they are aroused, thinking about some self determination and feeling the desire to act.

Added to that is the celestial movement into Aquarius, Jupiter and Saturn, with its larger societal awareness and expanded urge for freedom.
Rebellious Uranus, the Aquarian ruler, is turning direct.

The bit of outrage amongst the citizens is an Aries jump start. Charge, spark, and ignite.

Yeah, we've got to get out of this trap. Before we start chewing off body parts.

So glad about the surgery. Is that the same B from long ago, Stick?

Same
Set up similar to you and your beloved...tho I'm the older (or younger by zaniness)

Yes, out of the trap. And, then we need some good civics classes like the ones we hated.
Perhaps we really are at the fourth turning as some suggest.

I could't possibly count the turnings or assign some arbitrary number to them. Not for others.

I'm in my maybe 10th zillionth turning presently while the world turns however. I've lost count.

The civics classes would be fabulous. Fun and new! A novelty. Many could use them.

Been locked into some life review of late.

When Tseka was a wee girl, about three, she was left overnight with an aunt. Little house, lots of kids, all set in middle of a dark forest.
Tseka was on the porch playing by herself when auntie said, “Git in here or the boogie-man will get you” of course Tseka ran to the porch edge, “Where is he? i want to see him.” Whereupon she got jerked by the arm into the house.

Early the next morning Tseka was deposited at the grandparents with a report of how rebellious she was!

My aunt raised her youngest children through the war durning blackouts. Inside, with curtains pulled, was safe. She used fear to manage her brood. They all grew up to take safe jobs mostly with the government.

My grandparents stood up for me.. They were born in the latter third of 1800s. Grandfather was indentured at 7, ran away at 11, whipped to an inch of his life, then ran away successfully at 14 with only a pocketknife. He mostly walked, did odd jobs, from NE coast to NW coast.

Algonquin Grandmother was raised with Blackfoot, riding bareback across plains learning to slide over and shoot under the belly of her horse.

They told me that courage and curiosity mean survival, never mind that some will find these traits rebellious.

Everything has context.

My grandparents were the most peaceful, capable people I've known. My aunt a nervous wreck.

As we walk through this time we seem to have a lot of people shuttered, living in the dark, in fear with another group willing to look - is there a boogeyman out to get us?

Of course there's a boogeyman! Everybody knows the boogeyman. It's too late to be scared.

Now whether he's out to get us or anybody, or just existing is a question. Gotta be scairt to survive. In other words, he ain't goin' nowhere. Hide if you must!

Some people will find any trait rebellious.

Boogie-man! I like that.

The peaceful and the bellicose are in a different ratio in everyone, no matter the circumstance.

And the nervous system is an electrical madhouse. Some refrain from toying with the socket, though.

We just need a little Tesla to smooth out the electrical madhouse

Of course he did like playing with sockets.

Honest? Those electricians, man.

Now Thomas Edison, if history is to be believed, was a gentleman electrician. But who knows what went on in the laboratory?
