Choice

Midterm Election November 7, 2006.
One of the most outstanding aspects dominating tomorrow's election is Saturn in Leo trine Pluto in Sagittarius. It is very close....24/25. You couldn't have a better aspect for strong, inspired leadership. This indicates that no matter what majority emerges, tomorrow there will be some talented men and women elected all across the country in local government, and hopefully, a touch in the national. We don't know who they are yet. They've been campaigning in towns and cities outside of the national media glare. And there are many newcomers.
Extreme ideology has had its day. Final Act. Pluto in Sagittarius. What these times have brought is a modicum of honesty to the political process, although it's impossible to see right now. It will reflect in tomorrow's vote. People are beginning to realize the importance of philosophy and policy and are taking the first baby steps to conscientious voting, with even the courage to break longtime party loyalty.
The alluring Scorpio stellium is squaring the Saturn in Leo but lo and behold....the ruler, Pluto, is in that beautiful trine.
This is a very auspicious aspect.
In case you're wondering who will Win the House, Aunt Isabelle and little Zoe are just about to turn the card and find out.

I can't help it, I'm all on edge about the election, though I trust what you say jm. I've still been a bit under the weather, though slowly recovering. Just as I was beginning to get better I ran out of the remedy which seemed to actually work. (And I've never had luck with anything homeopathic before.) It was something I've had around a long time and turns out they don't make any more, and I haven't found anything to resemble it on the web or the shelves. Anyhow, I've had a lot of time to read, which is always a pleasure. And now I'm trying to figure out how best to do some last minute thing to help start to turn this government around.

This is so good. Under the circumstances wait till this is over and see how you feel.

After years of noninvolvement, in '04 I got completely immersed, watching the stupid polls and reading all the hysterical comments. I was in physical agony the week of the election. I swore I would never do it again.

This year I feel involved by I'm not following the details. I will accept any outcome. But still, I am in pain having no real defense against sensation. It's a little confusing to me and I wonder sometimes if I should disconnect from the Net to avoid the collective agony. That agony is always there.

In some ways I feel like I'm being sucked into society and there's not much I can do. Maybe I'll get used to the pain! Or develop a back and forth rhythm to the connection.

You have planets in the public sector, juju, so you have the ability to cope and have a good influence. the Saturn transit is probably isolating you now.

I do think our thoughts consolidated right now will help turn this government around. It has served its purpose.

I'll make a deal with you. Let's endure for a few more days then check back and see if the pressure has lifted. Then we'll know what it is and make our decisions.

We're at the finale. The president's approval is plummeting and the surprises are over. This just came in from the American Conservative and it is amazing. The real reason for all of this agony and the changes that are underway in our government.

It should surprise few readers that we think a vote that is seen—in America and the world at large—as a decisive “No” vote on the Bush presidency is the best outcome.

Unfrikkingbelievable. An ultra conservative rag. This is how the polarity is shifting and why it all had to be.

With this all has come a uptick in empowerment. The pain is worth it as the people are recognizing some facts and the importance of participation.

The thing to keep in mind is all this Scorpio elimination right now and the discomfort of purge. This administration has been operative for many many years and the downfall is big. Getting rid of the disease SHOULD hurt if its complete.

I also think this is a perfect opportunity to rid ourselves of personal impediments. It's all connected but it's happening and relief is ahead.

This is beautiful from the American Conservative...

There may be little Americans can do to atone for this presidency, which will stain our country’s reputation for a long time. But the process of recovering our good name must begin somewhere, and the logical place is in the voting booth this Nov. 7. If we are fortunate, we can produce a result that is seen—in Washington, in Peoria, and in world capitals from Prague to Kuala Lumpur—as a repudiation of George W. Bush and the war of aggression he launched against Iraq.

On Nov. 7, the world will be watching as we go to the polls, seeking to ascertain whether the American people have the wisdom to try to correct a disastrous course. Posterity will note too if their collective decision is one that captured the attention of historians—that of a people voting, again and again, to endorse a leader taking a country in a catastrophic direction. The choice is in our hands

Strong stuff.

This is the perfect time to triumph over the fear of these people. Just vote them out.

Wow! I'm blown away by your quotes from the American Conservative. I'm going to send them on to all my friends. I'll probably be following the election tomorrow night on the edge of my seat -- but I'll try to treat it as a kind of sport or horse race.

And thanks for the note about scorpio. I've been feeling torn between wanting to get out and be more involved and at the moment having a weak voice and low energy level.

Juju, this is really fantastic. At the moment I'm glad I'm involved and it was all worth it.

Another thing is your Venus in Cancer way up in the public part of your chart. You have great feeling and empathy with society. And also feel the collective pain personally. Many writers I think are like this. They often have strong Moons(Cancer) and understanding of people in general.

The new sincerity I was mentioning is evident by the American Conservative. This totally breaks party loyalty and dishonst rhetoric just to stay in power. I think it's a major development. Actually asking its readers to vote Democratic.
I'm stunned.

I was toying with the idea of going to Bill Ritter's headquarters tomorrow night, but I don't know.

The wave is in now and it looks like it's virtually impossible for the Democrats not to win a chamber. So it might not be that bad tomorrow night.

Effort pays off. It's physics. This country has worked hard to try and correct the mistakes. It's our nature and why the USA has always been a place where effort brought big returns. The urge for freedom and individual progression are deep in our chip.

Thank you jm. That one worked, and I'm going back to read it again. It might be a good time at Ritter's as he seems guarananteed to win, and some celebration is in order.

Ritter's in. And the celebration will be big. Also it looks like the Democratic Convention is going to land here. I have mixed feelings about this.

Colorado has always been a bellwhether state and now we are in the vanguard of big political change with this state in the forefront. Montana as well.

With Hickenlooper, Ritter, and the Democratic legislature, it has been nothing short of a miracle.

And of course our suffering evangelist, with the full revelation of hypocrisy, who just happened to be exposed in Denver!

It's all amazing. I'm entranced.

My main concern in all of this is the atmosphere on the streets as we get out of this oppressive chokehold. As a musician who works with the urban beat, I don't do well when joylessness dominates. And it has.
With the start of a return to balance in the government and release from this fear, I imagine it will reflect on the streets, and I will be much more enthusiastic about plying my trade.

I already noticed an uplift in the Arts District on Sante Fe last week. More relaxed. Hopefully, we can return to some normal pleasure.

The King and the Queen of Wands in the suit of fire. Who are they? They look like they are waiting for something. A decision? Or a person?

Apparently, the animals in the cards allude to Aries and Leo. Conspicuous by his absence is Sagittarius. Perhaps he is the missing actor for whom the royals wait.

Let's draw him out of Google's deck.

He appears as a man bearing a burning brand and riding a horse. Like other knights, he represents forces of change and action.

"Within the Suit of Wands, the card associated with Sagittarius is the Knight (sometimes also referred to as the Lord of Flames and Lightning and/or King of the Spirit of Fire). This card belongs to the Court Cards of the Tarot and is known to be The Revolutionary. It represents the purification of fire and symbolizes the mastery of inner development. ...The Knight of Wands is dynamic and able to predict the coming of changes. This card is indicative of clear vision in dealing as concerns the physical world.
The character is loving and open-hearted with a strong sense of morality and a great sense of humor. Such an individual will be unstoppable in the fierce pursuit of goals, but remains generous and courageous. There is a deep respect for life and all living things, an individual who is attuned to nature and to the creatures of the earth. This card denotes deep compassion and high ethical standards with a dislike for causing pain. The sense of rightness and duty is intense, which can lead to foolish choices and decisions. On a personal level, conflict is often avoided...although such an individual will never walk away from a struggle on behalf of others. In a negative sense, the Knight of Wands can be prideful, impulsive and unpredictable. The keyword of this card is action... such action being demanded immediately.
The Knights of the Tarot represent some type of release from the past. This release may be from a relationship, employment or residence, for example. Thus, Knights are symbolic of 'clean breaks.' Each one appears upon a steed and bears a symbol of the Suit he represents. The Knight is a defender of his Queen.
"The torch depicted on this card symbolizes the revolutionary and the idealist. It is also indicative of the burning away of all obstacles. The flaming cape represents the passion associated in the pursuit of chosen goals while the reptilian-like suit is symbolic of inner transformation. The fiery hue of this card is representative of ceaseless energy.
"In a Tarot reading, this card indicates a positive trend in business or a career. It also suggests sudden departures or changes of residence. Reversed, it indicates discord, interrupted work, procrastination (particularly in travel), delayed plans and a possible setback in business. In mythology and lore, the Knight of Wands is associated with Bellerophon, the Greek Hero who tamed Pegasus."

I think they are watching over the kingdoms they are responsible for. They've given freedom of choice to the people and are perhaps waiting for the verdict.

To me they represent the best in leadership. The ideals we strive for. I think now we are awakened to this longing.

Sagittarius. Perhaps he is the missing actor for whom the royals wait.

I love that idea. Your description of the Knight is fantastic. Thank you so much Kadimiros.

This is a Pluto in Sagittarius time. Just a few days ago he left the 4 month stop at 24 degrees and is on his way to the Galactic Center.

In '08, the election will find him for one last time at 29 degrees Sagittarius.

Inspired leadership ahead.

Pluto in Sagittarius is the fire burning away hypocrisy.

When the Full Moon in Aries brought the Congressman's sexual behavior to light and crashed the hypocritical Republican moral stance, the die was cast. Then in absolutely sublime timing the evangelist's betrayal of family and congregation brought the hypocrisy to full revelation. So beautiful to witness the cosmic orchestration. We're in good hands.

The greatest leadership has a genuine connection with the divine.

The Saturn in Leo is also important as we have looked to ourselves to find that inspirational fire from want of that in our elected leaders. The government is only a reflection of the time.

I think now the people of the country have found some lost self confidence and are ready for better leadership.

The North Node in Leo in the USA chart is an indication.
