North Node in Aquarius or the Eleventh House

The North Node in Aquarius is taking flight and guiding humanity to a better future. Leaving behind the kingdoms that built empires and enslaved masses, they're now able to see the golden nugget in all people, all walks of life, and they want to aid in their progress, seeing to it that every individual gets a fair share of life's substance.

A new kind of love. Having learned fully everything there is to know about personal love and romance, the NN Aquarians are entering a new dimension of love in the mind, not based on the excitement others can provide, the sexual pleasures, the heartaches and swells, the dramatic goings and comings.... but on a more detached love of people in general, and concern for their well-being above all. The roller coaster thrills are over, and a steady, constant, genuine liking of others is on deck.

Friendship. When the dependent, sometimes cloying form of love is curtailed, The Aquarian NNs are delighted to find all kinds of people interested in many of the same things they are. The new distance developing and the mental intercourse emerging, allow growth of independence and an ability to offer freedom, without the feeling of rejection at partings. They know the coming together will always be ahead with someone. People are now being liked for who they are, and not what they can do for them. Many grow to enjoy the end of the one against another games, always being the main object of everyone's desires, and realize the pleasure of group cooperation. The demand for full and immediate attention can be relinquished. People doing their own separate things, even, but enjoying the company. No longer having to be the life of the party, they know now that life, itself, is the party.

Trust. These NN people are learning abdication of the Leo will and confidence in the flow of events, leaving the sequence to circumstance, knowing things will automatically work to their benefit, especially when others are included in the reward. They are coming to accept unexpected events as natural.

Wishes and the genie. Aquarius is the sign of fulfillment of wishes, and these natives are able not only to actualize these visions, but to help their fellows achieve their futuristic goals. It's interesting that the singular of "genie", the magic holder of the lamp of our desires, is "genius", a concept associated with Aquarius as well.

Intellect and brilliance. The natives with this Uranian spark are here to develop the full potential of their minds, being gifted with an exceptional intelligence and awareness, once the attachment to excessive passion and personal drama is released. In place of heated emotion and visceral entanglement, a detached perspective is developing and a pursuit of shared interests in the mental realm. The light bulb of insight is theirs to use forever when they trust their intellects and grow to love the power of the mind. They discover that these interests are far from boring and dry, people are fascinating from a slight distance, and a new kind of self-esteem is blossoming, based on self containment, observation, and objective reasoning. Genius is a possibility.
Fire to air. The NN Aquarians are coming from the heat and ecstatic involvement, sometimes self-immolation of fire, to the cooler, less emotional element of air. The urge to burn everything in the path gives way to a dissemination of ideas, and an interest in the use of breath to communicate, rather that fan the flames.

Credit. By far, one of the best traits of these nodal natives, is the ability to bring out the talent and creativity of others. No longer needing to grasp all the credit, they now desire gold stars for all involved in the success of endeavors, especially when they loosen the need to dominate, and wholeheartedly encourage the use of everyone's abilities. They know the best result will come from this group participation. Having already mastered the lessons of self confidence, they leap at seeing the potential in others, and want to facilitate its development.

Idealism, altruism, freedom, and evolution. Aquarian NNs are here to lead people into better political relationships with one another, whether they are formally active in government and social services or not. Their understanding of group dynamics serves this goal on any level. They know the ideal of unselfish interaction, and instinctively recognize the need for personal freedom and autonomy for all citizens. Love of people and society, and a true desire for their welfare, are the most developed of all planetary placements, in the Aquarius North Node.

The Aquarius NNs are bringing their royal experience and self significance to the world, without judgement or prejudice, imparting confidence to each member of society no matter how large or small the circle. Revealing to all the solar centers within themselves.

Yogini. Before I comment over yonder, your blog is fantastic! Eveybody check it out! I just read a tiny snippet of the respiratory article and I am fascinated. What a great addition. Our society just got lucky!

onward and upward to the spirits

You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection”

Saturn in Leo is coming home.

Hi there. jm, I think there's something to what Juno said earlier about the destruction of that egg (Saturn/structure meets Neptune/dissolution). I did read all the comments and I've made my peace with the loss. Nothing is permanent, nothing more so than such opposites as that egg represented.

Maybe she's right and something new will come of it.

This is very very exciting.(I'm really going to need some downtime!)

If we can consolidate and build a real network of seekers, I know we will have influence.
Usually I see metaphysicians kind of drift like specks of dust in society, but here in this public highway, we are noticed, and joy of all joys, we easily find one another.

All kinds of people can find us, not just the ones who already are in the small grapevine.

Pluto in Sagittarius has done its job, along with our Uranus and Neptune.

Joe!!

So glad you are here. very important. This is your SN in Cancer.

The first tendency is to cry and seek sympathy. Feel put upon by life, and get others' sorrow. But what's done is done, and it's for reasons. The NN in Capricorn accepts the mishap and goes forward. Part of the process.

The work invested hurts when lost, but it really isn't lost. I think you made a break(ha ha!)through on this egg, and something is coming right up.

Wait till the next egg! See what they say in the Ukranian egg circles!

Juno is right, and she has the NN in Cancer. I find it fascinating that she encouraged you not to tarry in your sorrow, but realize the possibilities.

The egg represents birth of life. I would wager that you have stepped into a new dimension. I think we all have with this Neptune-Saturn. Your egg is our guide.

Let it shatter and a new time be born.

Btw, you can see the wisdom the opposite nodes have to give one another.

I'm learning so much I'm thrilled.
This reminds me of what happened in my life. 40 years of work on my music just shattered, and I'm just now realizing the connection. My Saturn in Leo, and the opposition there.
It will realign in a new way. Soon. Too soon! I'm enjoying the shattering!

I sure do see this! I had not considered the SN thing either... but that makes sense, and I had noticed what you said about the tendency to seek sympathy. Hmm. Interesting!

Joe. I've worked with this all my life being a Cancer with a not sentimental Aries Rising, that sees through everything.
When people feel sorry, thay are really crying for themselves. Your sorrow might trigger something in them, but a lot of it is personal guilt, much of it misplaced. People helping people is a complicated thing. Very complicated.
How much do they really care? Well, that varies. And for a SN in Cancer, too much coddling holds you back.

For me, like you, I'm learning to go ahead with enthusiam without a lot of sympathy. So over the years, I've stopped talking a lot about my personal troubles, which are many like everyone's. But I find myself better able to deal with them the less I drag others through them repeatedly. One time is enough. I'd rather they be free to take care of their own, which will make them more able to help me if I need it.

And of course, the coming pluto in Capricorn is going to encourage both of us to grow up! Might as well be ahead of the game.

You can see the nodes operating in every circumstance in your life. Once you become aware, the progress starts.

Then let me ask you this: I find myself really unhappy and almost physically ill whenever there is discord among people I love. It happened today and I was thinking over the charts of the people involved, including myself as observer.

Probably almost everyone has this reaction to a degree or another. But does it affect the SN Cancer worse since Cancer wants security, domestic harmony, etc.? Would this be true of natal Cancer as well?

Great question joe.

Now we get to the really interesting part. The Libra stellium squaring the nodes. Here's the whole story.

The Libra is relationship harmony, and the Pluto/Venus is in the 4th house(family). The Uranus(detachment) is the closest aspect.

Amazing. If the people are family, you will feel it that intensely, with the Pluto in the 4th. Other relationships might mimic the family dynamic and cause the same response.
Pluto in Libra in the 4th alone is a heavy emotional investment in harmony and it's necessary for your health. The Venus(relationships) indicates something around your mother.

So that's why I've always talked about the importance of the Libra in your chart. Relationships are extremely important and should reflect change as you grow. Those in tune with your professional advancement should be cultivated.

The best part is that the Moon(which rules your emotional body) is in Capricorn with the NN, giving you a good chance of getting away from too much absorption of others' energy.

The Neptune in the 7th adds to the immersion, but the Saturn, exactly quincunx the NN, is more ability to detach.

The time to really deal with this will be when Pluto goes through Capricorn. Relationships that reflect your mature development and journey to your goals should replace some of the ones now, including family to an extent.

It's very very hard to change these patterns of response. A lot is probably just getting so involved in other things so that you don't have time to indulge yourself.
One thing to watch is whether or not the sorrow is related to events around the family.

With my natal Cancer and Mercury, getting physically ill around others' behavior has been a lifetime phenomenon. Now that many of them are gone, I've decided to stay alone a lot, and I'm working on controlling how much I get involved. With the Pluto transit, I plan on working full time and transferring the need to other areas. The real test will be if I can avoid repeating these patterns in the workplace. I had an incident last night, performing in public that shows possibility.

Cancer absorbs the emotional output of everyone. Naturally the somatic body will react. That's why getting away as much as possible from the triggering elements is good.
