My Latest.
Hmmmmn......
And now it's down in the corn
It's always got to be something
Something from the day I'se born.
Each time I go into the tomato patch
Mean ol' horn worm with his body so long
Too soft to pinch, too green, and too fat.

Something's gotten in the garden
And now it's down in the corn
It's always got to be something
Something from the day I'se born.
Horn worm wigglin his body
Each time I go into the tomato patch
Mean ol' horn worm with his body so long
Too soft to pinch, too green, and too fat.

I saw one of those the other day . . . damn, they are BIG!!! They can munch a lot of 'mater vines too.
Great little ditty jm
Tomato Horn worms man
fast death to the plant.
My blue jay buddy sounds the alarm, i pull them off (the suckers are like suction cups so stuck to the vine)
Blue Jay happily gobbles em quick as i toss them.
They are huge!!
Great idea, the blue jays.
Good to be composing again, now that I got my keyboard situated. This one plays well; slow and easy swing. But alert.
Hello, Neith, Tseka and jm. I was away for a few days... can you guess where? :o)
Not surprisingly, a great deal of soul-searching took place there and elsewhere, along with a discovery about nature that I simply must share, later on.
For now, though, I'm going to begin settling back into ordinary time. BTW, jm, if you need inspiration for a song about another garden pest, believe me, I have plenty of ideas.
Joe! i've been thinking of you, wondering if all goes well. Glad for the photo. Waiting for your discovery.
Joe, amazing. The water. The solitude. While you were experiencing this I had a life altering moment with the river and Hermann Hesse's Siddhartha. I am awaiting your new knowledge.
Pests? I'd bet you have tales to tell.:-)
