South Node in Pisces or the Twelfth House

The  South Node in Pisces depicts a dependence on chaos, confusion, dissipation, delusion, deception, and an overall aversion to reality. What was once a combination of inspired dreams, sublime beauty, and idealism has turned into escapism, victimization, self-undoing, and an addiction to suffering. This native is now ready to abandon the fog of Pisces in exchange for the distillation, clarity, purity, and perfection of the North Node in Virgo.

Chaos and confusion. While the Pisces South Node used to be comfortable with the flow of life as is, adopting a "whatever" view of events, they now feel disorientated bobbling about the waves and currents. They seek ballast, grounding, and firm footing to offset the turbulent swirl they are so accustomed to. They have always surrendered to circumstance, sacrificing ego and control, trusting that the currents would land them wherever safely. What was once natural movement is now irrational and random motion requiring their intervention. Letting go becomes hanging on and directing. The comforts of chaos seek the predictable alignments of order.

Illusion, delusion, and escape. The unreal world of Pisces used to be blessed escape for the SN Piscean. Fantasy made much more sense and was supremely desirable to the reality others inhabited. Whether the illusions reflected a beautiful scenario or sent them into completely delusional states made little difference. It was all preferable to solid, unmoving, unglittering phenomena. These node-holders were able to create great things out of their visions, but now their palette has emptied and a more organized and real sequence beckons. Escape has been mastered.

Dissolution and dissipation. As the cosmic solvent, Pisces liquefies, vaporizes, and disperses solid matter. The Pisces SN is used to things falling apart. Ambitions are often unclear anyway so they easily let it all go. Destructive living habits were not problematic in their alternate dream world, but now inhabiting the earth realm and its held together reality seems like a logical next step. Where worldly pursuits once seemed neither here nor there, they now have allure and validity.

Paranoia and other ailments of the psyche. The infinite imagination of Pisces SN that trusted and surrendered to the universe now feels uncomfortable and questions the guidance they once reveled in safely. Mistrust has moved in, motivations can be suspect, and even clear analysis of the world around them becomes inviting. The nebulous realm of psyche and all its confusions longs for rock solid somatic endeavors and ritual to ground the emotions and create physical well being.

Compassion, self-sacrifice, martyrdom.
While once willingly immersed in human suffering and its universal inevitably, the sacrificial service that came naturally now seems ineffective. The tragic stories laced into their consciousness have become burdensome and the act of self immolation becomes useless in alleviating others' sorrows. They now see that they and others can solve these dilemmas with real specific actions attentive to details in each life rather than a blind  belief in a savior or rescuer to deliver them from reality.

Drugs, alcohol, retreat. In the escape from painful reality Piscean South Nodes know the depths of substance abuse, either from their own experience or that of others. They are familiar with the urge to spend life in jails, health facilities, other areas of confinement, or even in monastic retreats to avoid the tediums of daily life. They used to see these escapes as meaningful distortions in the otherworlds they inhabited or effective crutches in their perceived crippled states. They often spent life helping other people in these settings sometimes delaying the time to help themselves. The dissipation of Pisces is now turning toward health rituals and body maintenance. The otherworlds  are now imbued with the suffering previously attributed to reality.

Saint, sinner, and duality. The truth of good and evil co-existing in human behavior was formerly understood and accepted by those with the Pisces SN. They were well aware of the struggle between saintliness and and the degradations of sin. The highest and the lowest aspects of human life were recognized and tolerated naturally. But now these extremes seem like an exaggeration and an unnecessary approach to a longed for normal back and forth and up and down. The turbulent emotional ride on the Piscean current is done. The wisdom has been gained, the compassion has been spent, and the knowledge of life's vicissitudes is complete. A more earth bound and calmer life is ready to manifest with ego and will poised to be developed in creating a good working life for themselves as productive participants in society, not as its saviors or its chaotic upenders.

Sorrow, despair, and emotional excess.  SN Pisceans are more attuned to suffering than all others. Their sorrow is ancient, their despair based on long experience. They once were skilled at enduring these pains and helping others through their own. Now these feelings have become excessive and futile. They don't provide relief, rescue, and visionary escape as before. This node is ready to trade in despair for mental acuity and intelligent analysis. Sorrow and disillusionment become part of the emotional whole rather than the mainstay.

Self undoing and ego.
Where surrender to forces around them and the role of victim once satisfied their longings, the Pisces South now is prepared to recognize they have a say in the sequence of events they encounter. They are no longer nebulous nothings pushed around by circumstance. They begin to see that ego is a fine instrument to use as guidance through their once scattered lives. They are ready to put themselves back together, in the order they choose, and proceed willfully and consciously through the prevailing unknown. The Virgo North Node with its crystalline logical perfection can now be the sanctuary for the formerly dissolute, disordered Pisces South Node.

The South Node in Pisces has mastered amorphous spirituality, self-sacrifice, and emotional depth, and is free to move on to mental order, practical spirituality, and an embrace of the physical in pursuit of perfection at the North Node in Virgo.

Applause!!!
Your gifts as an astrologer shine brightly in your essays about the nodes.

I still maintain a book is just sitting here. We'd be blessed to have the work bound on our shelves.

As I read along the personality came to life. I cast my net, who matches? Yes. Yes. Oh the opposite node in 7th.
You've captured them ST.
Beautifully done.

Many thanks.

The heat and smoke from a wild fire, now contained, has triggered ancient lung issues. Down but not out...might not be around much for a few days.

I'm happy to say it's not age as it's a condition I was born with.

I was wondering about that. What are the symptoms? How do you manage it? Down time can be good. Very good.

A book would be wonderful but it will have to come get me. I love the nodes. It's the fundamental story. I'm going to review the Pisces north.

Sweet T you have changed how I perceive many patterns of human behavior with your node essays.

Every node change brings a fresh energy on this merry-go-round.
Yes, the nodes are the fundamental story.

Have you looked at blurb? It's a self publishing company.
blurb.com

A few of my friends have used it. A poet friend has published several volumes of her poetry. I worked with two friends when they got started offering some basic graphic suggestions. Your pages already show a balanced and fine design sense. Your writing would make your divine teacher (apologies for forgetting her name) proud!

Blurb has it's own layout program so you do not need photoshop or inDesign.

You can post to your site as a book on demand, blurb prints and delivers. You'll make very little money that way.
But there are other marketing direct ideas to put a handful in local shops.

I have not looked in a long time but creating an ebook available off amazon is also something to consider.

One thing which I believe is very important should you decide to jump in; buy your own isbn number for your book so you and only you own the copyright.

You can print a single copy as a draft to see how you like it and flog it to publishers.

I have 4 friends who are published aurhors. Hate to say it but as income goes they are even further down the creative totem pole than our chosen paths.

You're improving once again. Excellent. We know what to do.

Thanks for the info, Stick. My Saturn Pluto is getting it from everywhere along with Pluto opposite my Sun. Creativity, life, good times, self expression and all of it are in my spotlight. It's time to live the best way I can.
While my neighbors struggled with their screaming party I had my own and it was the party of a lifetime. I cranked up my sound system and sang all night. My patio was all lit up. A lot happened. A lot to work with. It affected the neighborhood. Once my self gets past the guarding gate it's home free.

The nodes changed my life. Understanding overwhelmed me upon study and the beautiful simplicity of our puzzles came clear. However it plays out, the essays are here and people will find them. I enjoyed writing them and I'm proud of my achievement. One more to go!

Anyhoo, my Moon Joop never abandons the big picture. And it loves you and your gorgeous guys' Sagittarian planets. At home with the best. My Sag Moon thanks you all.

It's easy to lose sight of goodness in hard times, but experience has taught me well about the inevitable fluctuations. My lifelong ailments come and go like clockwork and I've come to know their rhythms. In fact, I take comfort in their familiarity and predictability. Each time, a slight panic is there knowing it could get out of hand, but it doesn't. Even when one of my lymph nodes blew up like a hard boiled egg recently regarding an age old infection I carry. It never did that before, but I figured my body was working it out. Back down it went, and lo and behold, left the infection practically gone. The body has an astounding intelligence honed through the ages. Virgo knows this. Trust is key. And the skills of living.

So in the infinite picture, bad times turn to good and vice-versa in the never-ending fair exchange. Our individual sequence differs from the collective which is one of life's conundrums. Belief in a bad ending is useless. There is no ending as of yet. One patch to another.

Absolutely true darlin'.

Ironically in spite of this genetic disorder I'm healthier than most, have more strength, stamina, and energy.
And maybe having nearly cashed out at a very young age, I don't get wrapped up in the periodic fear porn health armageddon shoved in front of our eyes.

Because it's genetic I can see how those who carried the gene handled it. My papa lived 95 vigorous years. The last few less so but his mind was agile and sharp, in fact I interrupted him watching his stocks on TV moments before we said our last goodbye, love you.

Right you are in assuming an exploding lymph node is a chance for grand healing. Our bodies are miracles and ever amazing.

In my family the key handed down- work, physical work if you want to live a vital in old age.

And all the Sag feels just the same - and appreciate the whole rest of your attributes as well.

Heh....sag optimism keeps the rest from staying in the deepest dark corners. Part of our job!

"The health Armageddon." Excellent. Pollyvisionaries can certainly hope that improved well being is in the cards. Some will still insist that the deck is stacked but so be it. Sag dissemination of optimism is absolutely part of the job.

I'm getting deep into this Virgo Pisces business and discovering some interesting phenomena. I am intrigued by you and the opposite placement. The Virgo South has the health breakdown covered early, like you say. They know the ropes and at the Pisces North it doesn't have to be fiddled with so much anymore. Freedom follows.

I am stunned by this Gordian knot my fellow humans are caught in. I see the astrology of it now. Would that humanity's lymph node does its job. Pisces rules the lymphatic system. Pluto poisons finding their niche. Please don't make an impossible mess, dear Pluto, should the node explode! Oh me.

And you, dear Neptune. You are a trickster up to who knows what? Maybe you could let us hapless fools in on it.

The Pisces North Node is well protected.

So regarding end times, bad endings, and such, there have been four extinction events and none of them worked. One of them got rid of the Tyrannosaurus Rex and his brethren, but they were eating too much.
In that one, the amazing fern led the way to re-vegetation. I have a fern every summer and they are beyond belief in their ability to thrive and their enthusiasm for life. One corner of my patio allows no growth. I had to put fake succulents there. Except for the fern. It's growing heartily. It blends beautifully with the pretty plastic succulents.

Oh to be a fern unbothered by extinction!

B does manual lymphatic drainage as part of his practice. I had learned this at one point and was astonished by his technique. A touch feather light just butterfly wings on the skin, with stunning results. I've seen legs swollen with edema in terrible condition begin to soften and under whispering fingers a river beneath the skin's surface flow toward the heart.

Over time my sense of what heals has changed. I've landed at resonance. Given the right tones, waves the body retunes. Everything that heals is available.

Perhaps this is part of Pluto's lesson as it finishes it's work in Capricorn. Purging the big pharma money machine that's mostly poison.

And, instead of leaping in our car and running to the dr having a bit of patience, being gentle with oneself and trusting that our immune system can handle it we will all move into a healthier society. There is a real experiment now with half vaxxed half not. We shall see how our choices work out.

Our beloved B. What talent and heart.
When my node was inflated, a pal (Virgo!) directed me to that therapy.

I might agree on resonance. Probably that's why music has such healing power. I think healing comes from within the psyche which attunes to the resonating vibrations as desired. Sickness originates in the psyche too. That's why the soma spirit factor of Virgo Pisces interests me.

My view is that we are born with certain weaknesses and repeated abuses in these areas surface as illness as life goes on. The sickness is designed to draw attention to the patterns in the psyche where secrets to the the goodness of life are found. So truly effective healing comes from correction of behaviors.

Or sometimes illness is there to teach others about sacrifice and service, especially with long drawn out ones with no cure. The illness serves the purposes of the sick and the attendants.

No matter what, sickness is a natural part of life. It's not wrong. It ebbs and flows. I think sickness itself is therapeutic. Bad humours, you know, finding release. Disease as a balancing factor. People feel victimized by disease but it comes from within. We do it to ourselves and can discover ourselves through the experiences. It's a sort of blueprint or navigational map. It's a symbol.

It's tricky because some people want to be healed, others need their ailments for their own purposes. They cling to them as long as they need them. The conditions provide guidance and other things.

And of course the contrast to sick periods gives health its full power.

Societies are like people. They have healthy stretches and sick ones. The sickness now is lung related and points to communication troubles and blocks to breathing in life. Suffocation through masking, belief in communal contamination, blocking mouth signals in communication, unusual attention being paid to the lying which is always there, gossip, gossip, gossip, and an overall absence of elevated conversation in the public arena are a few of the dilemmas.

Now they are punishing themselves with excommunication. Banned from twitter? Really? Tough, isn't it? It's their faults. They created the platforms which have turned monstrous. Fortunately what is happening here is child's play when it comes to real tyrannical censorship but it's providing warning signals. There's a lot of child's play going on.

It's not the government nor the corporations. They are the symptoms. It's the body politic in action. Everyone is implicated. My optimistic side sees society trying to self correct, but there is no predicting where it will land. It will take lots of evolution for people to understand what sickness really is.

Punishing Big Pharma or Big Tech will get us nowhere. The people will re-create the monsters until they get to the root of the trouble which is in themselves. The desire for punishment is part of it. Right now, America is in a guilt punishment degradation phase and my optimism hopes this will relieve some pressure. It will swing to something else when we're ready.

Experience teaches but people come to awareness at their own paces. It would help a little to teach health in schools.

As far as the vax goes, everyone who knows about these things knows there is no vaccine for a virus. This one is no exception. My sense is that it will eventually be clear that the vaccines aren't working and that this is like most other pathogens. It takes its natural course. Nothing they're doing is working and probably won't.

It is interesting though. A half vaxxed bunch of jackasses, braying, crying, shaking, quaking, and running to the doctor, of course. As I say in my song Jungle Nights....

Witch doctor, doctor do
Doctor do something for me and you
Doctor does as the doctor do
Which doctor will it be for you?
The one with his liquids, his potions, his oils
Or the one who prefers talking in tongues
The one who kills chickens, oh the voodoo man
Or the one who shakes his stick at anything he can

In the jungle nights....

I don't blame people for being superstitious in the face of life's ills. The voodoo vax.

One of the gyms I frequent has a unique healing vibe. The pool has the lowest chemical content possible, the lighting is good, and it is uncommonly clean.

They mop the floors continually and the showers are sparkling as well as the mirrors. The gym equipment is also cleaned often and the floors vacuumed. The cleanliness and labor contribute to self respect.

I've been going there for a couple of years and one gal has been there the whole time. A Virgo. She oversees the cleaning. I watched her one time clean the grates by the hot tub with amazing precision and thoroughness as the jets massaged my back. She also is attentive to all the members and knows them by name.

It's a corporate enterprise but small with a good business model. The best we can do is to support these good spots with our time and money. It's up to us. It's in our hands. Group belonging and conformity must be approached carefully and intelligently. It's wise to be circumspect.

As a result of my spirited mishap, I cleaned my desk and immediately my living room, which is my music studio, almost doubled in size. One thing led to another and projects waiting were begun. Things musical are getting serious.

Maybe that's what art is. Beautiful stains on the world's ugliness. How dare you muck up the ugliness!

Definitely a way out of the insanity. Maybe that's why I'm playing more and better. Thank you Covid.

I was thinking about our dear presidents as symbols. The US Mercury in Cancer opposite Pluto in Capricorn is afraid of speaking up. Maybe that's why the irreverent big voiced last president scared them so much. Now they have a whispering weak voiced one who says as told. What next???? No screaming please or tight high-pitched shrieking. Or nasally enhanced mealy-mouthedness. Be kind Pluto as you exit Capricorn. My aging ears are sensitive.

I'll be ready and well-rehearsed when they emerge from their delirium, stronger and dare I say happier. And breathing!!!

Protection. I was just reading about reactive copper as a way to shield from EMF, 5G.
It reminded me of the carved wooden boxes of the native people on the NW coast. They were lined with copper. Within were the sacred objects such as shaman rattles.

In the Kalevala. At the turning of an age the stories the trees created, songs brought to shore by waves, bird language all were tenderly wrapped in cloth and laid in copper-lined boxes.

Those emfs may have been during solar storms?

I look back to see ahead.

Curiously, copper has turned up in treatment protocols for Covid 19. Graphene Nanoparticles are piezoelectric and magnetic.

The magic mill grinds back and forth says the old song cycle.

20/7/21 6:19 PM
Blogger jm said...

Copper is interesting because of its conductivity, both within structurally and how it's used. It's like a metallic vascular system. I'm enchanted by the copper water pipes in my basement. I love copper.

It's also found in the human liver and I will be pondering that connection. Could be something about removing toxins?

And of course electricity. I've built a rather elaborate electronic music system so all my music goes through copper to reach the audience.

I really love copper.

21/7/21 1:11 AM
Blogger Tseka said...

Yes!
One peculiarity of we folk from the far north, we have much more iron and lots more copper in our blood. A & I speculate a relationship to auroras, our people bathe in that dancing light as medicine.

21/7/21 6:34 AM
Blogger jm said...

That makes sense. The higher content of copper and iron might be to increase absorption of good electrical and magnetic impulses in the remote northern latitudes.

From Sky at Night magazine...

"For most of the time the Moon is inside the Earth’s magnetic field. It only pops out for a few days around the time of new Moon.

When it does, the Moon moves into the solar wind – the Sun’s outer atmosphere that expands into space at a speed of a million miles an hour.

This wind can’t penetrate Earth’s magnetic field and instead slams straight into it. Although this interaction is invisible to the human eye, it does produce something spectacular: the aurora.

The solar wind is blocked from reaching our atmosphere because it too contains a magnetic field.

We’ve learned that any magnetic field that threads through an electrically charged gas (a plasma) is tied to that gas; they can’t be easily separated, or decoupled, as the process is known.

So when the gusty flow of magnetised plasma reaches the Earth’s magnetic field, it flows around it, causing it to move and ripple like a windsock in a breeze.

This property prevents the solar wind from reaching our atmosphere and stripping it away, as happened on Mars. It also provides us with protection from electrically charged cosmic rays."

Gee whiz. Talk about health.

Copper is important for the nervous system with its electrical conductivity and most likely, protection from invading fields. Copper also factors into immunity.

So I'm thinking that copper and iron and their role regarding blood in the body is a by-product. The real function might be related to electro-magnetic balance and our relationship with the cosmos.

Our medicine is everywhere. Anyone can sense the magnificence of the auroras. Some are smart enough to absorb the therapy. Our celestial physicians are at work. Probably our mundane ones interfere with the connections. They seem to be learning that now. It will take much time.

I'm interested in looking at the moon popping out of the magnetic field when new. Could it be a recurring moment for an electro-magnetic tune-up and the auroras broadcast it? Very very fascinating. The moon is a Motha.
