Boomers with Bifocals

Some of us booming ladies remember the heady days of civil rights and anti-war activism years ago. After the American Negro officially got the vote and young men and women were no longer required to get murdered overseas, many of us went about our personal business and left the political arena for greener pastures. There seems to be a renewed interest now that we've met again at the cyber-circus, but what can we do? Old ladies in a new age! Refill my teacup please. Now where did I put my peace sign? My memory isn't what it used to be.

The best thing about Saturn in Leo (my 1st SR) was meeting these fabulous ladies on round two. Bravo!

Snow!?!
No wonder yesterday was a bit discombobulating.

My memory isn't what it used to be.

Likely it's better.

Daughters of the American Revolution, the venerable DAR, invited me to a tea when i was a senior in high school. Er what? Apparently these fine ladies take the progress of America seriously and unbeknownst to me they every year pick young women for scholarships. So off i went to a city some distance away, sipped tea and was some surprised at the the sharpness behind those bifocals.

I can lay no claim to being a daughter nor a great-great grand daughter of the revolution, my folk came much later.

No matter, one told me, the revolution for freedom is ongoing.

So here i am a little old lady in white tennis shoes. A boomer - no bifocals tho..

Omg! Yesterday!

LOL! The DAR! That was part of the message here. Activism takes many forms!

You are so right St.B. I had a confrontation with old wounds in the last few days and boy howdy, hooboy! It made me think about discomfort and disease and where the source really is. Some old memory, for sure beyond this body, It's amazing how old wounds come back.

I also thought of Paul Klee and how he came to life. Could the astrological chart be one way we stay immortal?

Nothing ever disappears it is just not in our one-eyed view. Sure the chart is a map of consciousness- memory.

I've been thinking about this a lot too. Paul Klee and all the connections to that time period. It is like we are finding the copper-lined boxes filled with the memories we need for now.

The last few days were much more contemplative than usual for me.

I plan to watch these node standstills. i'm thinking they are akin to the Lunar standstills the re-energizing of the ley lines every 18.5 years.

What a thought. The lunar standstill. I also think it does have connection to memory. The memory part happened for several days and today, suddenly, the future dawned on me and the pact I'm making with it. It was so clear. It's going retro right now.

I think maybe it's a window opening. I'm going to track them for awhile. This is wonderful. I bet they can be consciously used.

And the timelessness. The past came to us in a relevant way to guide us to the future.

OK. Here's one. December when the node changes. I'm especially interested in what the direct motion will do then. There's one day direct at 1 Pisces, then one day at 0.

Very very interesting. 2-3 days direct at 29 Aquarius and then they get longer.

Yep, i've been looking at them.
Backtracing dates and there is definitely a pattern. Agree with you that they can be consciously used. Now that we know about them.

What i'm doing is matching calendar days of the past few years where i have strong memory of the days.

How fun! Always something for our uranian minds to play with.

Great fun! I also want to see if there is a connection to the sign it goes direct in. Some message coming in. The idea of using them is very exciting. It's a wonderful mixture of mind and feeling, being lunar. Again the solar-lunar integration. The two eyes.

We are being offered lunar knowledge for the taking, I think. There is so much to these nodes. I am so glad you introduced this. Thank you St.B. You're right there, in the know.

The more I think about it..... Moon is memory. I'm sure there are messages from the collective memory coming in at intervals always. And we're always playing Rosetta Stone with life. Or Morse Code. And that is why I think cyberspace with it's universal teletype is decoding, more than we know.

And I will say this again. I think our country is in relatively good times. Fairly peaceful and I think it might continue. Perfect time to do these things. Experiments and leaps ahead.

I was reading today about the old arms race when we were hiding under our desks at school, the amount of money spent on weapons, and how times have changed. The world is recovering from two world wars, pretty scary. All of these things are deterrents now as conflict is localized and contained.

It's almost a relief that the post WWII growth is over. Too much. The ax always falls on those times and now we can do other things instead of buying bigger and bigger homes.
