Myrtle Rae Is On the Warpath!

GOD DAMMIT ALL TO HELL!

I'm so mad I can barely do my yoga!
I was refinishing an antique mirror and poked myself in the eye with a piece of sandpaper. The visit to the ophthalmologist cost me a fortune. I could have bought another priceless antique with that money.
Then I got stopped for speeding. I refuse to pay one more penny to those goddamned insurance companies. I don't believe in insurance! I pay for everything I do, right or wrong, myself.
Fortunately the nice officer let me go when I told him I was singing and lost track of my speed. He replied, "You must have been singing a fast song!"
Frippin' insurance companies. Can't stand 'em!

And all this terror. Moose crap! I've had enough to fertilize my entire snap pea crop.
I hope you are all fantastic. I'll tell you in all honesty, creative projects are the best thing in life, and there sure is a lot of talent around here. I'm a potter myself, but lately I've taken up basket weaving.
To hell with all the jackasses making trouble for everyone!

And you probably guessed it. I'm an Aries!

Winchester College in 1936!

That was one of my mother's worst insults. When she called someone a nonentity.

A big howdy to everyone! And you especially, William3c. What a gent you are! I certainly do love a man with a sense of humor. All my husbands had at least that!

Joe, I've been wearing red hats since before the great sperm and egg united to create such a darling young man as you, and now the hats are fashionable. Well, at least I fit in! This damned uptight society! It's taking a long time.

I hate insurance companies so much it threatens to damage my normally fantastic health. The basket weaving calms me down, though.

So glad you're all well.

Myrtle Rae, sorry bout yur eye. Just got a letter from a friend (with a much worse story) also involving an eye and police

which makes me think of

the terror perpetuated by authority and the general wounding of vision....

That is absolutely wild. Hadn't thought of it. In your friend's case it sounds serious. The synchronicity though is smething else and I've been noticing a lot of this lately.

I myself will not let any mealy mouthed authority figure get in the way of my path of vision. If anything, the authorities would do best to get out of my way.

The poke in the eye could be a sharpening of my vision though.

It would be good to look into the metaphysics of your friend's situation.

I do so agree that authorities have every intention of terrorizing and wounding clear sight as well as other things. We must resist this.
Very interesting observation. I like this kind of thinking. I'm huge on symbolism. It's kept me out of a lot of further trouble.

it was a friend of a friend, a Mexican photographer in Juarez, who was almost murdered by the state police and may lose an eye. Of course for a photographer the eye is crucial (for all of us naturally, but for a photographer key). I don't know the details, but the police in Mexico are notoriously corrupt -- my guess, from my friend's work is that it was connected with the drug cartels. So a different scene from America, but I find even dealing with a speeding ticket is somehow humiliating -- I've always admired women who could talk their way out -- congratulations Myrtle. Actually my eyes have been troubling me the past week -- nothing serious -- and so far no run-ins with the cops. But maybe I need to think of my own vision or lack thereof.

I'll jump in here. Very very interesting. My eyes are changing all the time. I'm near sighted which is associated with not being particularly future oriented.
Sometimes looking into the vision thing when eye trouble comes is good, and other times it works itself out automatically.

I get a stabbing pain sometimes in one eye and that's associated with sinuses and relationship problems. I get it when I forget myself and get too carried away with others. But usually I get so perturbed with it all that I find myself soon and the eye stops hurting. And watering.

I love all the symbolism and I read my body signs like a roadmap. All signs really. I'm way into metaphysical causation of sickness, a totally fascinating subject.

It's good to be reminded of how good things still are in the USA. I talk my way out of most tickets and when I don't, I can often talk my way out of it in court. The system is not what people make it out to be. Gotta use your wits and creativity.

Neith!

I'm going to have to get firm with jm. Sometimes she tries my patience. She's such a slow poke and loves her fantasy world so much. She hasn't even gotten the digicam yet.

I've seen her get immersed in projects for years. And most of all, she loves something new. I'll speak with her again.

What great friends she has! She treasures them.
