Taurus Trine Capricorn

These elegant stairs in the rich green of the city park remind me of Capricorn and Taurus. Saturn the architect building harmoniously within natural surroundings, preserving both the grace of manmade structure and the integrity of nature. Stone on soil. Hard and firm on soft and giving, combining pleasure and usefulness.
Venus and Saturn at their best.
It's no mistake that in several years Uranus in Taurus will trine Pluto in Capricorn while a new awareness of the value of the earth is burgeoning along with an urge to maintain its health and beauty. The challenge of providing for the people of the planet within bounds of self control and propriety is up for study. The productivity and consumption of Taurus restricted by the discipline of Capricorn are on the minds of many people these days as they move toward an understanding of system maintenance. The global system. No small task. The trine between these two great earth signs will help with this international effort.
The war in Iraq will take time and great care to come to a resolution but upcoming planetary aspects are in favor of a possible good outcome. The extended time is needed to close it properly. There is a chance for redemption if all goes well and leaders with skill take over when the moment comes. It's a delicate and complicated procedure with far reaching consequences. Patience is necessary.
When this is accomplished, Uranus transits Aries for breakthrough, innovation, and pioneering steps into the future. Many creative thinkers and planners will be crafting blueprints for use in mankind's changing relationship with the environment. When Uranus transits Taurus, they'll be put into practice.
Uranus enters Taurus in less than 11 years, and shortly after, a magnificent conjunction of Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto will take place in Capricorn with Uranus in early Taurus. The trine with Pluto continues until 2024 when the degrees will be very close. Then Pluto leaves for Aquarius. The preparation is beginning now as people nationwide are consuming products and disposing of waste with a new consciousness that is positioned to grow rapidly in the coming years.
One of the most important parts of the process is city planning ... responsible building, historical preservation, and the all-important park systems countrywide. Parks are vital to urban health and the well-being of society. I live in a place with one of the best park systems in the US. Seventy-seven miles of bike and footpath throughout the city along with beautifully maintained natural sanctuaries in town and the surrounding countryside. I'm looking forward to this development everywhere. A source of pride and dignity, a reminder of the importance of nature, and proof that the human creature is capable of good actions within all that he does.

Mars in Taurus 2nd house trines my natal Mars, Venus and Sun in Capricorn. Dunno, but besides new work projects and clients, I've been fixing and cleaning, and dining out with pleasant company. Work is slower-paced in the summer, so I can do more of the things I had put aside. While listening to Jack Johnson's mellow crooning of "Upside Down" and "Good People".

Oh, you win, it's your show now.
So what's it gonna be?
'Cause people will tune in.
How many train wrecks do we need to see
Before we lose touch of...?
We thought this was low.
Well, it's bad, getting worse so...

Where'd all the good people go?
I've been changing channels.
I don't see them on the TV show.
Where'd all the good people go?
We've got heaps and heaps of what we sow.

Dismantled the fan, cleaned it thoroughly of years of grime. Took apart several electronic devices, including my computer keyboard, and cleaned them, too. Scared a friend when he came over and saw the guts of the keyboard spilled across the kitchen table and drying on the warm stove top. Well, it was amusing putting back all the little keycaps. Hmm, I think I transposed the page up/down keycaps with the insert/delete keycaps. Okay, fixed.

Cleared out the fridge. Rearranged the hanging plants. Took a philodendron cutting and planted it in a new pot. Oh, and I've started converting old audio tapes to digital format in anticipation of the day when tape players are museum pieces. Hmm, what else can I smack into shipshape?

I dunno, Kad, but you're welcome to come over and start on my kitchen any time you like. :o)

LOL! What do cleaning services charge these days? I'm still marveling at being able to keep the sink clean and clear of dishes for more than a few days at a time. In the back of my mind, I'm concerned I'll break something as I go along. Could happen! Well, I got the CD player partially working again. It still skips frequently on track 1 of any CD, but it can actually play again. Probably I should just get rid of the darn thing. The real horror is the state of the storeroom. I've been meaning to sort it out for years. Maybe this will be it. Its time is nigh, the bell tolls and all that. All I have to do is mark its fate on the Saturnian calendar here.

Just wait until Saturn goes into Virgo Mr. Earthman!

You can start a virtual repair service and help out your poor relations here.

Pluto will soon square my Mars in the 6th, then trine my NN in Taurus. I'll see what transpires as I get a taste of the earth trines.

I'm planting this seed now. let Pluto work his magic for years on my NN in Taurus in the 1st. I open and let it in.

"my house is a mess."

Uh oh. ::Shakes head sadly::
:-) Some things have to get worse before they get better. Could be one of them.

"You can start a virtual repair service and help out your poor relations here."

Last year, a psychic friend of a friend asked me if I would be interested in computer repair work, telling me of mentally seeing a long line of people just waiting for me. I laughed and said, "No! I don't like it!!!" I did it a few times years and years ago when asked, and I wasn't that thrilled with it.

I have Neptune in the 6th house of maintenance and I have no illusions about housework getting any better. I could hire help if I could stand the thought of people poking around my things, if I had some money.
When I get materially successful, however, I do plan on having someone clean my windows and possibly the refrigerator.

Neptune has a way of undoing everything that gets put together so it's like pushing food around the plate. There is a fundamental feeling of clean, though, and that has nothing to do with the broom and bucket.

It will be most interesting when Saturn gets into Virgo. Something's going to be fixed. Who knows what?

Saturn in Virgo, the Mercury-Saturn connection again. Dunno how it will manifest. It does sound provocative, possibly challenging. I believe last time around, I was studying computers at the University of Hawaii before I switched back to art again.

That makes sense. last time for me I moved to this town and started performing with big professional goals in mind. Never too late.:-)

Saturn in Virgo is cleanup after the Leo party. The fun is supposed to be put on hold while the mundane details forgotten when the celebration was at its height, are attended to with focus. The dissaray becomes obvious and the impulse to make order is unavoidable.

The comedy/tragedy of the political show should reflect this change as well. I will laugh to myself if it starts to get more serious.

Sounds like my kind of time, jm! I'll make the most of the moment until it comes, but given my natal Sun-Moon trine between Taurus and Cap, it should be rather uplifting.

Al Gore has Sun in Aries and Moon in Cap. He seems to be a major symbol and force for change now. Maybe all the more so with Pluto transiting his Moon and Uranus transiting his Sun in a few years? A sign of things to come?

That also sounds like Pluto going from Sag to Capricorn now. Pluto in Sagittarius sometimes seems like it has been one big mindless fiesta spanning days (well, years really) spilling over into totally ridiculous amounts of excess. And then its finally over, and everyone, all hung over in the aftermath, looks around, sees the mess in the streets and realizes that it's CLEANUP TIME! Back to work! So goes the shift from high-spirited fire to practical-minded earth energies.

Interesting. That sounds so familiar. I can't imagine why. ;-)

Neo, LOL! Good ol' Neptune.

This is fascinating. I was going to post about Al Gore and why he isn't meant to be fully in the spotlight yet with his Saturn return in the 1st. I completely agree that he will up there when Uranus and Pluto come in. Especially when Saturn gets above the horizon in 15 years.

You are really in synch with the times ahead, which is why I have such faith in you like your beloved grandmother did (hope all is well on the family front).

Well put. Saturn in Virgo will kick us off. I can't help but feel that the years ahead will be better. Added to the trine will be Neptune in Pisces in sextile. It looks very very good. I think the USA inaugural chart in 2020 has the conjunction on the MC. Wouldn't it be great to have excellent leadership? You know my theory about this country just coming into the best of her power. The Pluto in Virgo kids will be coming in too.

Sagittarius can be exciting but it is often painfully reckless and out of control This has been the initiation of our Sag ascendant, but I think some real progress is ahead. Some surprises. We might look back in awhile and wonder what happened.

The conjunction will be in my 10th opposite my Sun. No wonder I got pulled by the bit to get out here and ready.

It's so interesting in your case with your 10 SN and all the other earth factors. A real transformation of the authority thing. Kind of makes me wonder about this phase ending and fitting your statistics free of the hate. There might be some leadership worth getting with. People like you.
