Attempted Orgasm

Mars in Scorpio: hidden reserves of power explode into action
Mars in Scorpio is powerful because its energy is contained then deliberately released, just as a bullet is directed by being confined in a gun barrel before its explosion. Thus when a controlled Martial Scorpion draws upon the hidden forces of nature and channels them into action, the results might be dynamic or devastating.Divine Astrologer
Last Thursday night, the Moon in Scorpio set the stage for the passage of Mars through Scorpio, a transit that began today and will last through the election. It's one of the most intense transits there is, potentially creative and destructive in equal amounts, and usually both are involved. An uncomfortable sensation shot through the collective symbolized by the debate between the vice-presidential candidates.
The drilling winking baby in stilettos and tight black skirt sent a shock wave through the public arousing the men and angering the women. The pundits are openly expressing their sexual excitement and hell has broken loose. True to Scorpio, the sexuality is a hook for pent up frustrations about many things in these people's lives, not the least of which is the 700 billion dollar heist. Unemployment is skyrocketing, pensions wiggle ominously, and investments shake, rattle, and roll away. Safety teases and escapes human grasp. Crisis and upheaval are real and the country stands on a precipice, apparently trying to leap and leave the destruction behind. The energy needed is more than usual and Scorpio always holds reserves for the occasion. So I can only conclude that the orgasmic reaction to the lady was part of a larger picture and a necessary adjunct to the task at hand.
A closer look reveals something interesting. The man involved is actually the one with Mars in Scorpio and something tells me he was instrumental in releasing the wave and will continue to be a driving force in the last phase of this important political event with Pluto at 29 degrees Sagittarius. One of the ideals of Scorpio is to take sexual energy and use it for great creative acts other than procreation. It's the theory behind Tantric Yoga where life's fuel is circulated rather than released in orgasm. I find this current upheaval fascinating and hopefully men will get a hold of themselves and help the nation accomplish this staggering feat. Ugliness, obscenity, spite, fury, rage, envy, jealousy, and poisonous extrusion are mere by-products and will have to be endured. The stripping away of pretension is the result and the essence of power is available, held in reserve, and only used when necessary. Now is the time. The Frankenstinian jump-start.

Wow, I was thinking earlier that most men don't realize that very connection. The balance of psychic energy expressed through biological creativity and mental creativity.

"True to Scorpio, the sexuality is a hook for pent up frustrations about many things in these people's lives...."

When the energy is being frustrated in moving up and out through more channels, it tends to drop back down.

I read an estimate that almost half of all households with television sets tuned in to the VP debate. That's a major broadcast of Scorpionic energy, urging transformation.

Simple. And there's probably an added edge and frustration having been thwarted in the attempt at variation. But this time the energy is already being re-routed. The polls are leaping fast.

Starting a business is an alternate use of the energy so they do it without realizing it. They love getting businesses off the ground.

Amazing. There seems to be consolidation of energy going on and I'm forced to abandon my prejudice against television to some extent. Especially since I'm seeing the public less manipulated than in previous elections. In both debates they defied the spin and I'm thrilled. Something more important is percolating and maybe it has everything to do with the transformation. Pluto indicates that it's time. I am really intrigued by this transformation of media use. The test is coming in the next few weeks when the poisonous character assassination goes full tilt but I already know they aren't going for it. This shows higher use of the energy. Fascinating times.

Reflection of the people. They responded to the sexuality but separated it from their voting choice. Ideal. It went to the extreme though, and people seem to understand that their leaders should actually have some special talent and maybe they needn't be exactly like them after all. Yep. They are acting that way. They're selecting the one who is quite different.

It's a perfect time to advance in this area and cut down on procreation. The global resource issue and economic hard times probably demand it. They haven't reacted wisely before but who knows? The sexuality of the earth producing petroleum products could move up into the air (windmills, etc.), and coincide with a raising of consciousness and alternative uses of creative energy. A little.:)

Hopefully women too will see this is not the way to reclaim it.

Which brings me to thinking about how women temporarily lost this specific application of power. The psychic resonances are out there.

An ancient time of horrors. Human sacrifices, power applied in the style of Maenads. The image of the Dark Queen that Galadriel narrowly avoids becoming in this video is based on some kind of memory.

Mpk that's a great interest of mine. The abuse of female power and the tendency to forget that part in trying to reclaim it. They are repeating the same mistake by assuming superiority which is why the female up there now is such a good example of the work that needs to be done. The stilettos are symbolic of dangerous weapons but they actually cripple motion.

The psychic resonances are out there.

Absolutely. The belittling and ultimately the annihilation of the opposite sex has been done on both sides. Maybe if roles are shared a psychic understanding of the other will develop and power can be shared. The whole idea that power means taking it away from someone else is troublesome and hopefully evolution will help. It's one of my crusades - recognizing shared responsibility and the contract that's made when one plays the victim.

Perhaps television is being pulled into the meta-conversation afforded us by new media. Then it can amplify the voice of the people.

Change comes to the world through the young most of all. I have for some time held a hopeful mental image of wildflowers blooming in a global network. I think it symbolizes children having far-reaching conversations with each other, creating their own visions of what they will be with each other's help and support. It becomes a self-sustaining cycle.

"In both debates they defied the spin and I'm thrilled."

Sometimes it takes just enough people speaking their true mind to break a spell cast over their peers. Comics and journalists have special purposes which they have been remembering. It returns perspective, proportion, balance that we can laugh at the foolishness of our politicians.

Politicians try to manipulate public opinion, and yet politicians are also pushed by poll numbers and fearful of voter anger. Politicians decry the media, and yet they are dependent on the media to transmit their messaging and branding.

Politicians smear the media precisely when they are afraid of its power to amplify the truth. As the line between audience and media disappears, the power of politicians to manipulate has noticeably weakened. Politicians, for their own weakness, are beginning to blame their audience.

"This shows higher use of the energy. Fascinating times."

The reaction and counter-reaction times have accelerated. I think that we are collectively able to process events at a quicker rate than ever before.

What a great great thought. I was thinking earlier tonight of these conversations that are shared universally. What an interesting and unexpected development. I do think that television is starting to catch up. Interesting how the people moved away from pictures back to conversation. I heard a theory that said TV was taking away the creative picture making facility of children. Maybe the collective expressive voice rerouted.

Comics and journalists have special purposes which they have been remembering.

Yes, they have been doing that. I grew up with topical comedy and music and they were important to me and my family. I suppose the empty infotainment has run its course somewhat. Cycles come and go so it could be that political engagement is returning. Then the media fulfill their roles accordingly. Media react to the crowd, contrary to what some people think. They don't initially have the power.

I'll take the blame.

I think that we are collectively able to process events at a quicker rate than ever before.

Interesting to ponder. It could be that or it could be the global connection that is requiring a new kind of communication within the whole process. So understanding is no longer kept to the self as much. It's been that way for me. I've been sharing my insights more than I used to. Maybe the sharing quickens the process, I don't know.

I keep returning to the Uranus-Neptune mutual reception and the last time Neptune was in Aquarius birthing the telegraph which certainly quickened the pace. This could be the next level.

Now, you do it.

Therefore, something has quickened.

Yes, I think so. People were longing for authentic self-expression, and connection of ideas.

We all dream at night, and in those dreams we act and interact, often elliding the customary constraints of time and space. Passive media fails to fully engage our natural creative faculties. So we dreamed a new dream into being.

Conversing and collaborating with one's peers -- the shared dreaming and shared awakening -- is much more interesting to people. It has long been part of our evolution that peers become more important than parents and external authority figures; it is from peers we find our future allies, friends and life partners.

Microsoft did so miss the clue bus in their quest for rigid control of the market. And this is also the slow-wittedness of old school political manipulators, to underestimate the hidden creative intelligence that emerges spontaneously from people interacting freely and on some level, even amidst apparent outrage, joyously.

Distributed networks are like a great nervous system letting people inform and influence remotely, like a kind of telepathy and telekinesis. Like specialized cells waking up through cross-stimulation, not losing their individuality, but becoming aware of their ability to participate at a higher level, play a higher game, reaching out and grasping their contributing roles in a larger organismic system.

I have mentioned before a friend who despaired of real progress in the years of the Bush presidency prior to the 2006 elections. He would talk cynically about "the sheeple" and the apparently insurmountable propagandist power of the political opposition. His defense mechanism against future disappointment dismissed the significance of every sign of growth and collective realization.

But I see great shifts as a time of special care. Some resist awareness, some reach forward for a new, more open life. The resistance builds up energy, like a coiled spring. Everybody counts. In total, twelve U.S. Presidential elections were determined by a margin of less than one percent. We have had close elections again the past two cycles because evolutionary shifts have been in progress.

Important point. Nothing stops the growth so it really doesn't matter. People use pessimism for their own survival purposes. Right now, however, I think an unusual number are abandoning the oppressive doubt for a moment.

We have had close elections again the past two cycles because evolutionary shifts have been in progress.

Interesting. Never thought of that. The opposing forces create a dynamic tension in order to make the shift, I would guess.

Really interesting. The two forces come as close as possible creating a crucible of attraction-repulsion in order to create enough energy for advancement to the next level .. ?

The opposites are a dynamic whole and they almost come together before the movement up. Or do they? And remember - the Saturn-Uranus opposition!!

Ha, ha! Necessity is the mother of invention. A fine orchestration of control and instability allows directed movement. (Hmm, do those two statements relate to Saturn-Uranus?) From creative tension, higher ways of seeing and acting develop.

I think a wholly peaceable society could be relatively static and content to remain unchanged for ages, until disrupted or disturbed by external factors -- as in the stories of matriarchal cultures corrupted from within by reincarnating Atlantean souls after the high society's destruction. Bad deal!

The youthful nation could never have moved forward slowly and tepidly, and as a whole there is no going back to the small, insular, quietly homogeneous culture. That is just not its nature, and not its role.

It has propelled itself forward and so is confronted by the issues raised by its own motion, composition, and styles of governance. The body politic, challenged by the poor results of its past decisions, reinvigorates itself and renews its vision of the future.

When political division is well proportioned, controversial issues are fully and freely explored instead of unilaterally decided. The capacity for dualistic division is a rudimentary expression of the capacity for diversity and freedom of thought. I think that the nation will in coming decades see the ascent of more major political parties.

I take a non-new-agey tack, I think that problems will not just melt away by the ascent of one party. If it could have happened that easily it would probably have already happened that way. There will continue to be a need for diverse stances and emphases for a while yet.

Probably, yes. A great struggle for power at that time, as the resistant group saw its control on future generations slipping away. But the resistant group's energy is exhausted from fighting constructive movement and the larger trends of society.

There is something to seeing McCain as a literalized symbol of a cancer-ridden, misdirected, fading worldview, and Obama as a vigorous representative of fresh energy.

"The opposites are a dynamic whole and they almost come together before the movement up."

The basic choice is made clearer than before, the options contrasted to ridiculous degree, great fodder for comedy. When the public laughs week after week at the antics of the outgoing group's candidates, it does suggest that its time is nearly over along with its credibility.

And by mid-century the anglo white man is projected to be in the minority.

Also the extreme whiteness of McCain and the brown of Obama highlight the black & white choices. It's the Pisces-Virgo axis as sickness is exposed and the choice of wellness is offered.

When the public laughs week after week at the antics of the outgoing group's candidates, it does suggest that its time is nearly over along with its credibility.

Excellent point. It actually started with Bush. The comedy has been revved up with the ongoing SNL ridicule almost like a battle unto itself with the outgoing.

So the finale is the attempt to paint Obama as a terrorist in keeping with the old tactic. There's a disconnect, since terrorism was last year's fad, yet a terror attack in some form is the only thing they know.

Somewhere the collective should recognize the fiction. Will the real terrorist please stand up?

Perhaps they missed the realization that the political cycle has shifted to the feminine energy, its style of leadership, and its concerns. The President's role is expected to be a masculine one in many respects, but there's variation in emphasis.

Does change look like a strong female leader? A diplomatic, consensus-seeking, interracial man? People are seeking.

Were the ascending energy more male, "experience" would be more of a winning attribute, and the Republican Party's candidates and potential candidates would be stronger contenders.

6/10/08 9:57 PM
Blogger jm said...

I agree. The ascendency of the feminine is necessary for survival at this time. Developing a relationship with the earth being primary, rather than conquest, rape, and pillage.

I read an interesting article talking about the need for an unprecedented era of diplomacy.

The attack cycle now seems ludicrous as the wounded beast flails and gasps for life. People are watching it in a semi-detached way, lingering for a moment at the scene of the accident. But it feels like they recognize the time and the tears at the last debate, no matter what the intention, are a large part of this recognition.

It all happens at the right moment. The pendulum concept makes sense being a symbol of the passage of time. There could be increased tension at the moment the pendulum swings the other way.

Along with the ascendency of the feminine personified in the next leaders is an opening for women to develop the masculine traits that have eluded them. Acting hard and cruel is not the way and that also has been part of this cycle. So it looks like a slight feminization of male leadership and a masculization of female. Eventually people will have more freedom of movement without being imprisoned in gender identification.

It looks like a global depression is on deck which adds to the feminization I think. There's been talk of a deep cut in military spending in the next years. I always thought that the high cost of nuclear weapons would bring that about.

I hear the spirit of the music, and the music of the orchestration of the people.

The people often elect a new leader who compensates for the perceived lacks in the previous one. Though they try to gain some advantage from it, the McCain campaign strategizers can't fully get -- can't substantively craft a political vehicle for -- the spirit of the time except superficially.

All the questioning, the extended primary contest, allowed time for the people to ask and to feel. And so here we are in the process.

7/10/08 4:52 AM
Blogger jm said...

Yes. The process has brought us together to perform a common task and we've worked hard and followed through. Reward logically follows an endeavor like that. I agree with you about the extended primary. A lot has been gained. There should be a brief window of good times.

That's the fundamental flaw in McCain's campaign - his inability to link with the spirit of the time. Yet he is in a way. He's providing a necessary piece in the process.

It's a big political shift since the conservatives have been in power for so long. But they do well in times of prosperity when the status quo is desirable. In depression, the progressives are needed for new ideas and change. I think that's usually how it works. The people always make the right choice.
