OMG jm tears are dazzling my eyes.
thanks for the send off. This is beyond belief!

i never much cared for the "break a leg" or the french "merde".

My father always said, "We're off like a dirty shirt on Saturday night" -from the logging camps. And so we will be in the morning.

thank you
and thank you Neith for the toast...to all of us...may our creativity and talent take root in the smallest crevices and flower with fragrances that drift into the lost places.

warm thoughts flowing around you all.

You will find the rhythm of traveling after awhile. Most of my family including my S/O tend to approach a trip with grimness . . . get in, go until you get there or run out of energy! But you three are experienced travelers & know how to enjoy it. Know what you mean about the smell of Northern Cal, evergreens & clean air. Then there is the unmistakable scent of tidal flats & dense undergrowth that always says West Side to me. Have a great trip & a very successful opening!!! We'll be waiting for reports! And believe me, there is a VERY cool wind blowing your way!!!! :-)

Me either! Break a leg is too rough for me!

But I like your Zen father's phrase.

We're off like a dirty shirt on Saturday night

If my feelings are anywhere in range I feel good times ahead for artists. Or maybe it's just me. Alls I know is that I feel an irresistible urge to come into my full creative potential and to encourage and support all artists in my sphere. It's such a pleasure to share space with talent. Successful at that.

Drat! I don't know those gardens and now I'll have to learn something again. Those little gaps in knowledge.

Vashon is a little devil, isn't he? Trying to lure you back. We're hip to Vashon's little tricks.

On to Hesperides.

Vashon probably is a she. A friend I met there - a budding astrology - said that the shape of the island reminded her of a womb, and she noted that many people are drawn there to open up and heal. Then it's as though the island spits them out and cuts the cord.

Getting the golden apples from the garden of the Hesperides was the 11th labor of Hercules. The 12 labors of Hercules clearly have their origins in the Zodiac (so I guess that means the 11th is associated with Aquarius, which just hit me). His Greek name, Herakles, means "in service to Hera" -- Hera, of course, being the Roman Juno.

Very interesting. Vashon is a strange name and it hits me more than usual names of places.
I wonder about the Aquarius connection. Uranus/Moon freedom from past maybe? More collective involvement.

Pat on the hunt for the Veedon Fleece. Where are those Argonauts when you need them?

I heard a rumor the Argonauts went on yet another pleasure cruise. Maybe they're looking for the Sunset Goddesses, the Daughters of Evening, the Hesperides.
