Straight From the Aries' Mouth. Myrtle Rae Tells It Like It Is.

If anyone dares utter one bad word about Aries they will be coming into contact with the rough side of my tongue, which is not an experience I recommend!

You can chart, analyze, study the eclipse from 1429, and any planetary cycle you want, but when push comes to shove, demonstration tells the story.
That darling Sun in Aries, kj, and my sweetheart of an Aries Rising niece, jm, gave you the full demonstration yesterday of this potent and impossible to restrain pure potential energy. It was exhausting! Thank the merciful lord for the upcoming Taurus moon.

I've been an astrologer since my chicken Zelda's grandparents were toddlers and I will tell you something.

This is an unusual Aries Full Moon. Normally the moon is full in the sign exactly opposite the New Moon in Libra. Sometimes this goes out of phase as it did now. The New Moon was at 29 Virgo, so the lunation was quite different. Virgo is cleaning and organization, and many of you mentioned trying this. It is also worry and anxiety, and there certainly has been a lot of that, what with all the jackasses pulling their stunts again!

There is a big catch in the entire scenario. The South Node of the Moon in Virgo, where the lunation started. So as much as we want to clean things up and get going, the North Node in Pisces is telling us that it's not time yet. Futher chaos and disintegration are in store for awhile until Saturn gets to Virgo next September and the nodes change in December. A lot of detritus will be eliminated by then and we'll be ready to rock, roll the mop, and clean up. Meanwhile, enjoy this fine Aries energy and try to stay out of trouble tonight!

And to hell with the housework! Jm will certainly be delighted! She does listen to me, believe it or not.

Full moon in Aries, a client is in hospital having had a heart attack. She called me from work, it took three, THREE! phone conversations before she went to emergency room hours later. Arguing...listen up you women out there heart attacks in women are different than in men, a lot more silent and the symptoms are not as dramatic...still seems like an Arian event to me full moon and all and that arguing about it, dang!

What a day. Herb tea on the desk and barefeet i'm gonna watch the sunset and relax.

Heavens, tseka. You did your best at least. Relaxation is definitely in order. I'm even headed in that direction.

Emergencies are so Aries. Mars/Sun combos are behind many heart attacks. Aries is often the gun popping.

I'm impressed with your handling of self! Any impulse to go to the hospital?

Hospitals are psychotic and terrifying. People often wait hoping they won't have to go. Once you go through the doors, your theirs.

I wonder if this is part of the Virgo SN lunation and healing efforts unraveling.

Yah, the Aries Moon manifested in dealing w/female relatives for me. My mom w/moon in Pisces, Venus/mars in Virgo, is not in the best of health but not that bad either. It's like Lynn said . . . boundary issues w/her mother showed with this Moon. It is so difficult to draw the line sometimes, especially with family - but if I don't, I will end up being sucked dry! I offered to prepare main dishes for my folks since they have not been eating either enough food or good food. And somehow the expectations have expanded waaaay beyond the offer!

BTW, jm, I completely agree about hospitals being psychotic & terrifying - the antithesis of what I would consider a healing environment.

Emotional issues with women . . . Full Moon in Aries opposite my nMoon . . . aaarrrgh! :-)

Interesting... I had a meeting with one of my clients who has been having medical problems. First it was breathing difficulties about 2 weeks ago, then diagnosed with anemia, and then today he confided that he was getting numbness in his legs that was spreading to his arms and hands. Needless to say, I told him to get on the phone and insist that his primary care dr be notified, so they got him into neurology and he was admitted a few hours later. So I spent much of the first half of my day in a clinic and a hospital.

Joe! Neith! wanna share some of my lemongrass ginger tea?

I have a block of icebox cookies in the freezer (if it doesn't have freezer burn) my mom gave me a while back. I think it's time to bake some.

I suggest that full moon is too beautiful not to have a soiree with friends....

At least some cookies and tea, my mother is a great cook. These are pecan and cinnimon i think.

Especially tonight. Excerpt:

Check The Skies For A Fuller Full Moon
The Harvest Moon is near perigee, the point that is closest to Earth

The so-called Harvest Moon will be 12 percent bigger than some of the full moons this year.
Friday's full moon will be almost 12 percent bigger than some of the full moons this year, setting up a fine viewing opportunity when it rises in the evening, says NASA.
The reason: The moon is near perigee, the point on its slightly out-of-round orbit that is closest to Earth.
This moon is called the Harvest Moon, owing to its timing of being nearest the autumnal equinox. Farmers in the past relied on it to harvest all night. The Harvest Moon is not always closer and bigger than normal.

It fits completely. Virgo/Aries and health emergencies.

These are pecan and cinnamon i think.

Pass them over. Cinnamon is one of my addictions. Every single morning in my coffee.

To start: The Denver Art Museum has gone through a huge renovation...very very big deal.
Well the grand opening just happened to be tonight under the Aries Full Moon. They are celebrating around the clock all through the weekend and I plan on checking it out tomorrow at about 2:00 AM. This is very big.

What I think it says is what I've suspected. That the arts are due for an upswing. Money will be going there and with Pluto in Capricorn, a return to skill and good fine art. I am very excited. The energy was almost too much. So interesting that it fell under this special moon.

The arts district deep downtown had a celebration tonight that topped anything I've seen in the last few years. The vitality was overwhelming. Something is up. Get your brushes and yarns ready. I might even be a musician again.:-)

I know neith, especially with your boundaryless Moon/Neptune. Thank god it's temporary. The service of Virgo got you caught, but considering the SN for the next year, maybe a lot of it will have to slide without your intervention.

The other incredible thing that took place tonight was a meeting with some young people that taught me almost more than I can process. We all found one another in a courtyard behind a gallery. We sat on the stones in a circle, in all the Aries urgency, and started to talk in the most illuminating tones imaginable.

I have always loved young people from the age of ten through adolescence and into young adulthood. These kids are the children of us hippies and believe me, they come from the protoplasm. The idealism was immense. As was the optimism. But with more wisdom. I recognized them as they did me. I am soaring knowing our future is partly in their hands. Oh they are wonderful.

I got to thinking about the Internet which they are so immersed in and the sensory changes occurring without smell and much sound. I think maybe as we enter the Age of Aquarius we might be leaving some of these more emotional repsonses to life and this is a prelude as we explore the mental realms more inclusively. It might seem painful now but it won't be later as the dimensions open up and we embrace them. Some sacrifice of the primitive visceral could be required.

As Pluto goes into Capricorn things are going to get serious. Altogether different. Not the gloom and doom so many predict, but new directions as Pluto edges toward Aquarius and we get into this new era. It's happening now. This Moon was a sign.

Oh jm that is just lovely how wonderful your experience at the opening under the moon. I'm counting on the resurgence of fine art music conversation.

and remember this is one of the last of the full moons of the lunar stand stills the recharging of the ley lines for the next cycle.

I'm ready.
And i'm ready to cheer others who wish to try.

The full moon is hanging in the branches of my ash, silvery in the amethyst sky and light of the sun is sliding along the desert floor to the east lighting the ridges.

i'm ready.
Kisses to you for sharing the news

But last night, sleeping under the blankets, hiding from Fear, I saw the full moon. A dream I'd completely forgotten until reading this blog.

Pure Cancer and it's so wonderful that it works. I do that exact thing. Get into a fetal position under covers, and if I can add a full moon, all the better. When I first moved into my house, I saw the Full Moon through the skylight over my bathtub and I knew I was going to do well.

I really like that wording.

I think we're seeing the beginning. Our language was beaten almost beyond recognition in the political arena these last few years.

The USA has a Mars in Gemini and we've always loved language. Remember the Dorothy Parker days?
Pluto just transited while this verbal horror emerged but now that it's moving on and I think we are ready to get out of the gate and speak eloquently again. Bush was the bottom after a history of some fine speakers in this country. He certainly won't be qouted by history.
I think our next Pres will be a good speaker, which will help create the tone.

In the midst of this, we, the people, have developed our own verbal expression in the blogs. It will bring some results.

I find it best to read between the lines.
While the ruin of our language was occurring by the government, many on the blogs were mimicing the repetition...fascist, dark, destroying our democracy, etc. The number of times fascist was repeteated breaks my calculator. All of this shuts down imagination and verbal pathways. And that's when external power has too much control. That was the worst part to me. The public dialog is important. It refects the society at any given time.

At the same time, some of us have done the opposite. When I left the other astro site and started this blog, the full realization of how much I had been missing great conversation came to me. I feel extremely fortunate to have you all to talk to. And I credit the ghastly situation for leading me to this.

I think a country's real source of pride is in the cultural achievements. The USA has a North Node in Leo and very much concerned with this pride. Saturn is transiting now.

Oddly enough, through all of this shame, the Louvre art museum in Paris launched an important show of American artists this year.

The end result should be a renewal of pride and artists here will feel safer in the environment.

The big sign is the money moving to the Democrats. The revelation of this last scandal must have been timed by these moneyed people to put these Republicans in their coffins for good.

As we rebuild our image with Pluto in the 1st in Capricorn, the arts will certainly be a big part of it. Eloquence has been our nature from the start.

Right now we have the Scorpio elimination to take care of and the rest of the NN in Pisces dissolution, but soon thereafter, the time will come. I'm going to start to seriously get ready.

He is an object lesson in knowing the notes but not the song.

Speaking of cultural institutions and emblems of fear, today, I was interested to read the New York Times' report on the removal of security barriers in New York City. Excerpt:

They started appearing on Manhattan streets immediately after September 11: concrete and metal barriers in front of skyscrapers, offices and museums. Some were clunky planters; others were shaped artfully into globes. They were meant to be security barriers against possible car or truck bombers in a jittery city intent on safeguarding itself.
But now, five years later, their numbers have begun to dwindle. After evaluations by the New York Police Department, the city’s Department of Transportation has demanded that many of the planters and concrete traffic medians known as jersey barriers be taken away. So far, barriers have been removed at 30 buildings out of an estimated 50 to 70 in the city.
Officials found that the barriers obstructed pedestrian flow — and, in the case of planters, often ended up being used as giant ashtrays. Counterterrorism experts also concluded that in terms of safety, some of the barriers, which building owners put in of their own accord, might do more harm than good.
...“Physical barriers in New York City really aren’t very practical,” said James Jay Carafano, a senior research fellow at the Heritage Foundation specializing in homeland security. “Trying to childproof America is a really dumb idea.”
[The Heritage Foundation is an influential conservative think-tank.]

Kad this is fantastic news!

Thank you so much. I knew it! The War on Terror is winding down.

One can hardly sing a sweet song in a state of terror. Nor listen to one.
This is wonderful.

Actually that's a good use for them now that we can't inhale smoke inside buildings!
