What a Relief

I've got an alcove in the barn where I'm going to take a nap with the sweet scent of hay and a soft breeze wafting through. It's time for a little peace and relaxation after a hard job well done.
The most difficult part is over, the purge successful. Soon there will be joyous celebration, so in this in-between, I'm going to reflect on the recent past and think about what I've accomplished in this great letting-go. But primarily, I'm going to catch some zzzzzz's. Or maybe leaf through a magazine.
Sweet.

The love letters are starting to come in from around the world.
All is forgiven. Never mind that we voted them in. We slayed the dragon and they're excited.

The Saturn in Leo is progressing, less than a year left as our pride gets slowly restored.

Interesting. Saturn turns retrograde December 6th. Until the spring. Wonder what he has up his rings.

The woes of love. Hard to be adored by everyone.
But the show must go on.

Eve said the Europeans here (I work for the French and it is a MULTI-national company) are ECSTATIC! And even more with Rumsfield out! WHOO! HOO!

If I wasn't so pooped from taking care of my 2-1/2-year-old yesterday, you'd probably hear me doing the happy dance.

Conservatives seem pleased at Rumsfeld's leaving.

One video showed a group of conservative women having coffee talking about how displeased and disappointed they were at the results of the elections. But, upon being informed by the reporter that Rumsfeld had suddenly resigned, they all brightened: "Oh! He did?!? I think that's a good thing!!! Yes!"

Hopefully, a grace period. A time to review ground already covered, and try to spot what we've missed?

LOL! They are very, very busy at that age but just so cute!

I'm with you on doing a happy dance! Now am just feeling like we need to keep the Dem's feet to the fire to make sure they don't weasel on us. Politico's are usually very good at weaseling . . . :-)

You have the feeling we've missed something too?! Maybe I've just got the "too good to be true" bug in my brain. All the current Scorp transits keep poking me to dig deeper . . .

Heh, no, I just think it would be a good idea.

Allen has just officially conceded this afternoon.

Let's see if the Democratic party is forming a fresh and sustainable synthesis, with a better notion of how to keep energy flowing constructively through systems on every level.

Deep down the whole country's relieved. they can't openly admit it.

I completely agree.

But this is an unusal moment. The power of the populace is completely clear. we have new recognition of power. And you're right, neith. We should exercise it.

This is such an unusual moment. Like we've all been stun gunned.
All the years of intimidation and the creature reared up and delivered one blow perfectly targeted and lethal. The power is somewhat frightening. Politicians sense it. They're a little afraid.

All can see the laws of the universe. Equal and opposite and how individuals are not in control of collective destiny.

A lot of confusion is ahead and some disappointment in getting things turned around fast enough. Still too much Neptune. Saturn in Virgo next will be the time to really get to work.

One fascinating thing I've noticed with all the Scorpio now is the talk of revenge. What should the Dems do? Some want investigations/punishment immediately and others want to move on to possibly some sensible lawmaking.
I'll be interested to see what happens when Jupiter moves out of Scorpio.

Saturn will turn retro soon and meet Neptune again in February, right after the new Congress convenes. They will be transiting close together for many months. That should be interesting too.

The dissolving of illusions is something. One fascinating thing to see is the right wing conspiracy (voting machines, Orwellian dictatorship, etc.) go down the drain in one day. Neocon dream down the drain.

A new and unclear landscape faces this country at the moment. All so sudden. But most likely, there will also be a lot more of the same.

It truly is a fascinating moment.

Another thing happening is the Uranus/Neptune mutual reception and all the Aquarius/Pisces operating. Socio-political idealism. We feel it and want to get going. It's daunting, but it's probably happening in many small ways outside of our control and awareness.

Now with this new legislative body I think many want to put ideals into action right away. At least we're thinking about it.

Incredible, isn't it. My head is spinning with "what if's" . . . these events have opened up a whole new line of speculation. I do believe you're right about Saturn in Virgo being the time of getting down to the serious work, especially related to alternative energy & the environment. Another item we need is a return to the rule of Law.

One more little thing on this.

When people saw the Scorpio stellium squaring Neptune they immediately thought negative things. But one event was the power(Scorpio) of the people/democracy(Aquarius) coming into focus. This came with tremendous force, typical of Scorpio.

A square is not necessarily pain and doom. It's tension and an attempt to move into harmony. It merely describes something of the process in achieving the goal. I think one of the most important things in learning astrology is not to look at a square and get clenched up and afraid.

I think many of us are now wondering what to do with this power and how we should engage politically from here on out as individuals. I know people became disillusioned with the political process, but now there is a new light on it.

Lots to ponder.

Lynn Hayes posted the astro specs of Nancy Pelosi and are they ever interesting.

Wouldn't you know it. An Aries....the 1st Speaker of the House in history.

Aries is a young man, aggressive and fearless, cloaked as a woman when female, but her Moon in Scorpio is all about female power.

We were dicussing polarity and tseka mentioned the involvement of Hel in this and wholeness, meeting of polarities.

Here we have it. She is the synthesis and this will be most fascinating.

This is another individual that I will be following closely. He's an Aquarian w/Chiron conjunct his sun . . . like our Pat P. He could easily strike out on his own path . . . much to the dismay of the neo cons.

Sometime in early December, we will be able to discern future trends more clearly. As a matter of fact, that little window of time when everything is direct could be illuminating is the best possible sense. You are right that we have just lots of information to ponder & learn from!! :-) And for someone with Moon/Jup & another w/Jup in the 1st . . . yippee kiyay!!

One of the most interesting things is Nancy's Aries but North Node in Libra. The debate that I figured was ahead seems certain. She's a tough one and will be forced to compromise. Not going to be easy for her. I can't wait to see who gets the Majority leader job and how that blends with her stuff. She can't stand Bush and so far expresses it. You know Aries.

Interesting also with all her Aries and the war talk that is coming up.

So so fascinating. I'm interested in the bums again.

Yes, I saw that Libra NN and had a similar reaction since that NN is all about learning to compromise & play well with others! It does feel good to have a tough Aries woman right close to the top of the food chain in DC. That grouping in Taurus in her chart is interesting too.

Oh that Taurus grouping. Wow. I know Mars in Taurus and when they get on a jag, forget it. They do NOT give up.

We need to get her birth time.
I agree about having an Aries woman in charge. It's almost too orchestrated. Life is something.

The ladies are comin' in! More good news.

Time is running out and we need to move forward on this,” Boxer said of global warming during a conference call with reporters. “The states are beginning to take steps, and we need to take steps as well.”

Boxer’s elevation to chairwoman of the Senate Environmental Public Works Committee comes as Democrats return to power in the Senate. It also marks a dramatic shift in ideology for the panel.

The California Democrat is one of the Senate’s most liberal members and replaces one of its most conservative, Republican James Inhofe of Oklahoma. Inhofe had blocked bills seeking to cut the greenhouse gases contributing to global warming, calling the issue “the greatest hoax perpetrated on the American people.”

Environmentalists were overjoyed at the change.

This historic moment, as Pelosi takes the most powerful position a woman has ever had in this country, will have reaching effects.

Get in your saddles girls!!
