Hey man, at least one of those links in the sidebar is deader'n a mackerel -- dude hasn't updated his site in almost a year.

I like the astrological slant on politics and current events. But I wish you'd elaborate on the "wordsmith alert." I've noticed that certain times are better for writing, though I've never matched those up with the music of the spheres...

NBC's Lisa Myers and Jim Popkin report that Hillary Clinton has declined to return $170,000 in campaign contributions from individuals at a company accused of widespread sexual harassment, and whose CEO is a disbarred lawyer with a criminal record, federal campaign records show. The federal government has accused the Illinois management consulting firm, International Profit Associates, or IPA, of a brazen pattern of sexual harassment including "sexual assaults," "degrading anti-female language" and "obscene suggestions." Sen. Clinton's spokesman, Howard Wolfson, told NBC News in a statement that the senator decided to keep the funds because the lawsuit is "ongoing" and because none of the sexual harassment allegations has been proven in court." This is the usual Camp Clinton Hypocrisy Spin.

Hillary and Camp Clinton is the core of what is Wrong with Washington politics, the do and say anything to win no matter what is done to the country and the country's morale. Jim Hightower, Texas columnist states, "Senator Obama represents the bright future that is possible in America when ordinary people begin to take charge. Clinton and McCain certainly have a wealth of Washington experience, but Obama has tapped into our country’s enormous democratic potential, and that’s not merely exciting, it is invaluable to our future.” The reason so many Senators are endorsing Obama is because they know with him, they have a chance of getting unity and not division, truth and not spin.

Hillary Clinton's healhcare plan will be like Mandated Auto Insurance, which will cause more suffering to people than it is worth. And, it will also be helpful to the insurance companies, with enforced penalties and fines. Hillary Clinton Was for Nafta before she was a little bit against it. Hillary Clinton will run the Country like she has run her Campaign, a disaster. Hillary Clinton takes words from her husband and Edwards, but that is not Plagiarism. Hillary will never apologize, she does not believe in that.

She is a consummate Actress from years in the Whitehouse and Scandal. Every thought she issues has been thought out and well planned ahead, she has no Genuine moments. The Real Hillary is the one who, after Barack has won a primary or caucus, comes out on stage and does her stump speech without Congratulating him at all. She does not like to apologize, nor congratulate. She is not truthful or authentic. She should disclose her Income Tax Reports. She voted for the Iraq war because she did not have enough compassion to be concerned about what it would do to the young men and women and their family who had to do the dirty work of Bush. Unfortunately she was more concerned about doing what was best for Hillary, what was so-called Politically Correct at the time.

Before leaving the White house, President Clinton on behalf of Hillary asked the National Archives to withhold from the public until 2012 many records of their time in the White House, including much of Hillary's correspondence and her calendars. (There are ongoing lawsuits to force the release of those records.) - She says Shame on Obama, I say Shame on Hillary!

Thanks john! I'll delete.

But I wish you'd elaborate on the "wordsmith alert." I've noticed that certain times are better for writing, though I've never matched those up with the music of the spheres...

A lot can be matched up with the music of the spheres. Mercury, Gemini, and the third house all describe communication, and this country has Mars in Gemini, so words are a big deal. The public arena has been reflecting this as you've probably noticed with accusations about speech-making and what-not. Truth in advertising most recently.

Some people have blocks to easy verbiage, according to planetary alignments in their birth charts, and some have relative ease. Some have torrential verbiage, however, and you'd wish they'd shut up! Aspects in the chart tell the story.

Mars is at 29 Gemini for the next few days and it could be a moment of truth, if that's possible. Then comes six weeks of Mars in Cancer, when many will be letting go of the past, including this country. Watch for more crying.:-)

Actually Mars in Cancer is good for some writers as feelings surface. This country has 4 Cancer planets and likes this sort of heartstring plucking thing.

Bacalove, I'm glad you brought up the mandates. It's an insurance scam and I can't believe people are falling for it. She's a total scam artist with her Pisces Moon. The insurance game unnerves me. Damned if I'll sell my soul to the insurance company! Mandates are a horrible horrible idea.

Hillary and Camp Clinton is the core of what is Wrong with Washington politics

1000% correct. It's almost over but she will have to do her Shakespearean exit which will be drawn out. Cheap theatrics.

Jim Hightower is one of the most respected figures in the Progressive Movement. People were euphoric when he endorsed.

Obama laid down the law yesterday when he countered her fear mongering attack add ... the phone ringing in the WH. He won't have it and he's the boss. It was amazing. He completely obliterated it. She will shrink away after she collects a little more contribution money, in keeping with her greed and tendency to steal. She'll never release the tax returns, also in keeping with her criminal secretive way of doing business and attempting to govern.

The country is going to be much much better off when she and her husband are gone. I'm praying for them to leave the political arena. The best thing would be to forget about them and let the 16 year soap opera end.

The more we clear the decks for Obama, the better off we'll all be. Thankfully the people recognize what's going on finally.

I think the crowning insult is her belittling of most of the voters in the country and the attempt to steal their feelings. They like Obama, besides trusting him. Nothing she can do. I do hope her exit has a tiny bit of grace.

This comment says it well:

I'm 50 years old and have spent most of my life bucking trends and deriding groupthink. In my previous career as a lawyer, my stock in trade was rigorous analysis. In my current career as a teacher, I challenge students to think for themselves, to understand the meaning of things. I am not a delusional dupe.

What Obama has done in this campaign is to understand the nature of the disaffection Americans are experiencing with their government, to articulate the reasons for that disaffection, and to conceive and communicate what we, working together, can do to overcome the causes of the disaffection. This is no small task.

The ability to effectively frame and respond to the defining political questions of the age is the hallmark of the truly great leaders in human history -- Jefferson, Churchill, Lincoln, MLK, to name just a few. This is what I believe Obama is doing.

What is particularly remarkable about Obama is not only his ability to inspire huge crowds, but the fact that he has proven the truth of his understanding by successfully using it as the blueprint for a new kind of political campaign. Both strategically and tactically, his campaign is the concrete expression of what he says in those inspiring speeches.

And who can argue that the results have been anything less than triumphant? He has changed the face of American politics, both in aspirations and in methodology. As has been said here many times, students of political science will be studying the Obama campaign for years, maybe generations, to come.
