Good Morning!

Actually, I think I need some Wheaties. They're good for working astrologers. We're out of Cheerios, but there's Kix, if anybody wants some.

Those bangs! I can see your mother was as handy with the scissors as mine. After an episode involving scotch tape to ensure evenness which only resulted in all points springing skyward once the tape was removed, my grandfather rescued me. Ever afterward he trimmed my bangs.

Good morning to you too.

How did everyone fare with the full moon lunar eclipse yesterday? So far it's mellow around these parts. Have not yet read the news. Lots of cats came to visit in the night, we do enjoy sharing a full moon over the desert.

All is peaceful here. For the past few mornings the crows have come calling when I go outside in the morning. They sit high in the trees and call. I return the call, and we all just chat for a while, juplicating eachother, and multiplying our call patterns. When I went inside, they flew off. Interestingly they came back calling a few times a bit later, and then came for a long drink of water from the pond.

Someone sent this link to me. I love the imagination in this man's painting, and I thought you all would enjoy it.

Ha, Ha, Ha!!! There are many pictures of a scowling blonde person with bangs way too short & the cowlicks in complete control! I trim my own bangs most of the time . . . :-)

So far, it's been pretty quiet here. My hope is the eclipse effect came in early with the new grand baby & my mom having a down cycle the last week or so. Both are now eating much better & so are doing quite well. With this lunation affecting my IC & Moon, grand babies & mothers are definitely part of the larger pattern. Might not be a bad idea for my two favorite Virgo Moon people to keep a weather eye out thought . . . :-)

There is a kindly feel to this man's paintings, the sign of a gentle caring soul. The Disney characters are fun too.

Morning, or afternoon as it may be, tseka! The bangs story is great!

all points springing skyward

They often do that!

Good granfather. The best relationships.

Astrid, the crows are visiting here too. I didn't know you speak crow. They are so communicative. I love them.

Neith, you're right about you and women now. Old people can live without much food. Amazing how long sometimes.

The Full moon was quiet, humble, and a little sad. Lots went on here, and the natural letdown occurred just at the fullness. With all the Pisces, I felt the nothingness we've been discussing and the lull and waiting before the something which I know is ahead.

But amazingly, truly incredibly, I cleaned the entire house!

jm, I was trying to review the comments you made in Dec. 2006 about my nodes and my father's. There are no comments in the post anymore. Were they deleted?

No, joe. I haven't been there. I'll republish and see what happens.

I think they were in "An Astrological Exercise." Right around Xmas.

In fact one of your posts is now riddled with links to pharmaceuticals and sex sites. It wasn't like that before so evidently spambots can get into old posts and post links to these sites.

Oh I've been speaking Crow for many years now. I love them. I speak a few other languages as well, but all in all, I'm still learning what I (we) know. Remembering sometimes seems slow.

The Crows are wise.

Astrid, I love crows very very much. I agree about their wisdom.

I've mentioned this before, but I will again. That time with my father held a moment with my mother, who had died a year earlier.

He went to NYC for the weekend and I stayed alone in their apartment. I slept in their bed and dreamed of my mother. The next morning the crows came and every morning thereafter, making a huge ruckus right next to the church in the backyard. I knew she was speaking to me.

I've always loved crows. I see them as sentries protecting us, warning us of dangers, alerting us to good things, etc. Messengers. And bosses.

Also in India, in an ashram for 4 months, I listened to them every afternoon. They are part of my spiritual experience in a big way.

Oh jm, mine too. I could tell you stories....

The veil so so thin, and the connections so strong and loving. We are a great spirit.

ROFL!!! Must have been the Uranus connection with this Full Moon in Virgo . . . :-) Sundays are my usual day to clean the house before heading back to work. That way I always feel the effect will last a little longer . . . Pisces on the 4th is prone to wishful thinking after all! :-)

You're the second one to mention this in a week. maybe I should do it!
A formal house-cleaning day. Could be that Pluto headed for my 6th house Mars. Clean or be cleaned!

It's interesting about this self-taught artist linked by Astrid. This is perfect for the Virgo Moon and skills.

I'm self-taught in almost everything I do, and this makes me wonder about teachers and innate skills. We must all be born with natural talents and can develop them ourselves. I wonder if those with less innate skills in specific areas can learn or not. I know desire is behind learning. I learned astrology this way.

Or maybe these talents are remembered from past lifetimes. Some of the learning is vast and complex. I've always been interested in this. Is it just observation and putting two and two together?
I tried it with sewing, but I put everything together backwards. I get there but it takes twice as long. My sister says I do it intentionally, and I tend to agree. But why?

Virgo is the way things fit together on every level.

jm, you're just too kind. :o) I captured it and saved it in a file for future reference.

BTW, here's another confirmation for you. If you recall Saturn is in my 1st house, this will be of interest: my mother told me that I was born with an unusual rigidity of limbs. They had to do some kind of therapy to get me to relax and gain full range of motion. I am not sure how long this took, but I don't think it was a lasting condition.

Joe. Joe. Joe.

Is this incredible? Aren't you glad you're becoming an astrologer?

to get me to relax and gain full range of motion.

I think this is the key to Saturn for all of us. To relax within the structure and use it, not be a prisoner of it.

It was for me too! Although the evening wasn't what I'd call wonderful. Quiet and relaxing.
