Independence

 Pluto and Saturn turn direct

Pluto in Capricorn has moved into direct motion headed for the first encounter with its natal position at 27 degrees, which will occur next February. The ruling planet of Capricorn, Saturn, has turned direct in Aquarius. Capricorn governs authoritarianism, Aquarius oversees separation of powers and independence from central control. In human affairs, autocratic squeeze and loose personal liberty continually intersect in natural rhythm.

When a planet returns, the ending phase right before is one of dissolution. The long Pluto undoing is nearing its conclusion. It is very very interesting that Capricorn's ambassador, Saturn, is in Aquarius marking the return to the nation's governmental systemic roots. The United States is known to be a protector of individual rights.

In this undoing, there has been an uncharacteristic restriction of freedom, and while most of the populace is obedient or indifferent, some are fighting to reinstate the seemingly lost autonomy. Just as the original movement for independence from the British crown involved a minority, the return of Pluto is reflecting a strong element fighting against the odds, aligning through word of mouth. Today the same type of thing is happening largely through innovative media. Saturn in Aquarius points to practical use of new technology, while emphasizing the original Moon and south node Aquarian need for self-determination. The Moon represents fundamental security, so freedom must endure. The south node has a long history concerning these matters.

Pluto crosses 27° four times and Saturn in Aquarius will be accompanying Pluto through the first three. Saturn moves fairly quickly, spending two and a half years in a sign. Pluto spends twenty or so. The meet-up of the two is unusual at such a significant time, but then Aquarius is known for its quirks, and also for its timing. The bridge to Aquarius is made up of planks of sovereignty. People are separate. States are separate. It's the "United States of America."

In the years ahead, Pluto transits Aquarius, when the country and all people can study what orbiting on one's own axis truly means.

Wonderful analysis JM!
Pluto will be busy taking out the debris here in the US and globally.

Everywhere people are re-evaluating their needs wants and values.
It's going to be an interesting decade just ahead.

Good heavens, what's happening in Australia is beyond anything I could have imagined.

It's a testing time for the freedom loving colonies.
(France too.)

Hong Kong I still have some hopes for and for Taiwan I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Very interesting decade ahead. It took eight years after the revolutionary war kick-off to achieve that independence. Pluto was in Aquarius.

Our societal problems are just beginning. You might think the sneaky virus was bad, but the real thing is coming.

Aquarius is a highly misunderstood sign. They think it's "we're all in this together" but it's not. We're all in this separately and eventually together. We're unique. We're isolated.
The discovery of self in Leo becomes the collective joining of established selves in Aquarius. It's soon time to delve into the Cancer-Aquarius quincunx, which might be what's behind all of this. Intimacy versus emotional distance. Alien Aquarius. Umbilical Cancer. Four planets in Cancer with the ruling Moon in Aquarius is not easy. Pluto makes its first stop at the troublesome south node in the next big adventure. Ideally Cancer-Aquarius can lead to good collective nurturing, but true acceptance of diversity is required, leaving some tribal attachment behind.

Aquarius is high, dry, and cold. Cancer is afraid. By the time this moves ahead people will be longing and ready for the warmth and love of the north node in Leo.

The fixed cross...Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius....takes people through the stages of life from Taurean attachment to the independence and non-attachment of Aquarius. It does come at a price but it is necessary to complete the wheel. Pluto is the Scorpio bondage in free Aquarius, so challenges are forthcoming.

The crybabying comes when the kids realize that modern communication technology is not going to prevent the social separation. In fact, it could be a step in its realization. Threatened tyranny is certainly scary, but to the Cancer stellium, cold unfeeling detachment is far worse. Yet the moon and south node's memory is there, so things work out. Our Cancer society needs the ability to detach. And the radiant north in Leo beckons. It's a circuitous path to fulfillment, keeping in mind that individual fulfillment takes precedence. People can look to the Aquarius house in their own charts. Other parts can help map the path to detachment and awareness. Collective success follows.

One thing that can dry the tears is knowing that with four Cancer planets, emotional closeness will always be there, or will return, after needed loosening of tethers. It's part of the re-evaluation of needs, wants, and values you speak of.

In this rebellion, much like the first, words are top level weapon. And resistance; I'm finding it almost fun to watch the airlines suddenly suffering from massive cases of freedom flu.

Truckers, workers, yep. Remember the old 70s chant? Power ot the people! Right on!

Even Eric Clapton is protesting and supporting others doing the same.

Here, at chez Tseka, work is getting done. Tree trimming, major cleanup and delayed maintenance finally finding a match between time and energy. Great peace settles around me. And boy am I tired and aching...all good.

Very good point about it not being all in together, it's what we call sovereign self on sacred land.

Yes!! Freedom flu! Perfect.
The Vax Rebellion is underway. Others are backing off. It should soon be a deluge. No vaccination without representation!!!

The Eric Clapton plea touched me. Political beliefs will probably shift a little after all is done.

Good to hear about the match between time and energy at chez Tseka. I love the tired ache from hard physical labor. The new cold is invigorating and my workouts have been great since the weather changed. It's raining golden leaves very sweetly before the big ash and locust flood of drier not so pretty ones. My broom is ready.

Sovereign self on sacred land. Of course. This not new. With my eight major Uranus aspects I'm all in. Crazy and I were known as the most together-apart couple in the vicinity and beyond. We were admired for that. People know it's good.

Great peace, you say. I'll take a piece of that. It's Libran equinoxial October and I love it as always.

"Pointing to the swinging pendulum of history may be a trite metaphor, but it is a remarkably prescient representation of humanity's drift from one side of the political spectrum to the other.

Suddenly the pendulum's swing toward bigger and more powerful government looks so far stretched that the 'system' is nearing its breaking point. What comes next, as it begins to move in the opposite direction and pick up speed, will be something new for most people now alive. As freedom-fighters once again hear the call for action and respond, it will become increasingly clear that those who cherish the conservation of human liberty over all else are a force to be reckoned with when freedom is on the line."

Found the above in an article tonight. And Uranus is square Saturn Christmas week! Since toys might be scarce, we'll take freedom!!

And Joop at 29 Aquarius that same Xmas week.

I'll be celebrating my favorite Aquarius rising's birthday around that time!

💓 ja, the Mother's night once again looks to be delivering dawn's light.
You and Crazy. Me 'n' B. He is living in my mother's house several miles away. Same story. The envy of our friends. The most together apart couple.

And let's remember that Jupiter conjunction is on USA's moon. Will we the people will be having our emotions expand?
The Solstice period does look to be opening a gate to a new year maybe a new cycle for this country.

I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!! You 'n' B. We lived separately too. I had no idea and I am thrilled to find this out. Oh that gorgeous guy and his distant but oh-so-close queen. Excellent.

Yes. Could be a special solstice. Jupiter goes into Pisces that week for some expanded spiritual "togetherness" with Neptune. I believe that's one silver lining in this escapade. Renewed trust in the universe. A spec of faith in the divine. Even the dogged nihilists supposedly in charge could be humbled. On your knees everyone!! Then up and at 'em when Neptune goes into Aries for spiritual renewal and adventure. Into the Aries wilds! I'm glad we get to experience it in our age old years.

So my philosophy sees the universe as a collection of gears turning in rhythm and keeping the whole going. Even if I don't like some of the circles I understand their necessity. The problem comes when I confuse my gear with another even though they sometimes are marvelously in synch. I think that's the Aquarius gift. The separateness I perceive. The consciousness of separateness keeps focus on one's own gear, helps it function at its best, and contributes to the wellness of the whole. Keep those gears greasy, I say. Maybe some divine cosmoline!! Maybe rust comes from neglect. Each one is his own repair and maintenance man.

Divine Cosmolone! OMG!!! Great belly laugh from me.

I agree, a spiritual awakening or a new understanding of Spirit looks to be up, replacing the enslaving systems.

We may be advancing in age dear friend buT B keeps saying, “taller and younger” as my mantra. Keeping our personal gears moving so to speak. 💪

The enslaving systems won't be replaced. Duality and all. Humans love them some slavery. It's a hot commodity! Great for conversation.

I do wonder about the slavery part in human history. Prevalent and seemingly forever. even the pacifistic tribe I was raised with kept slaves.
Could humans give up the crybabying? It gets refashioned periodically; serfdom, debt, taxes deferred living. Klaus Schwab and WEF have a fine new version, -you will own nothing and be happy. Mind control.

Oy, JM. The future could easily be so different on this marvelous ball we call home. To shift to something new means closing the door on the past. Fear keeps us stuck in place right on the doorstep.

Trust seems to be the word all right.

Awful awful slavery. How it persists. But we're slaves in so many ways. Slaves to our desires for one.

The question of why and what to do about bondage is unanswerable. It's more than free labor.

HA HA!! Give up crybabying?? No way. I know one thing for certain. This Cancer country will be crybabying to eternity. I've finally resigned myself to it. But I sense something in the air that I can't put my finger on yet. Maybe a slight coming to grips with reality. A change in mood out there. Friday night and the streets and stores are empty, along with the emptying shelves. Uranus in Taurus is gonna bring some financial uncertainty and upheaval in some cases. Slavery is part of indebtedness and the people's situation is of their own making as they've sold themselves to the money holders, like they have throughout history. Could be some extra real awareness ahead. Empty shelves scream loud and clear to the crybabying spoiled brats who have overindulged to a shocking degree. Good thing they know nothing of famine although collective memories lurk.

This country has a money problem. Time and experience is the solution. We're in the vanguard of good money sense, the Queen of Non and her parsimonious sister(me).

Klaus can dream on. But actually owning less is a good idea, not because of him and his crowd, but because of destiny or fate or something. Poor Klaus. He knows not. He's the real slave. He'll never be free from himself. Imagine having the desire to control the whole human race? What a disastrous karma. One's mind is one's own and can't be controlled without consent from somewhere within. The sheep who are mentally manipulated can't seem to help themselves and there's not much we can do. Even repeated lessons in history don't change much. Time, time, time ...... one by one.

The marvelous ball we call home is just fine and so are we, really. We can each have a great existence, even if the crowd is slow to come around. I completely agree about closing the door and being stuck on the doorstep. But no one is telling us how we can live this amazing thing called life. No one stops us and keeps us stuck in fear but ourselves. It's unreasonable to expect everybody else to live up to our ideals. Even we don't, so being fair is best for me both with myself and the world.

Absodamlutely. Trust, baby. The gift of Sagittarius is a belief in the goodness of life whether it pans out or not. I wonder if it's simply the luck of the draw to have that attitude. One person trusts life, the next one is terrified. This goes back to the impossibility of collective togetherness. People come to trust at their own pace. And to complicate it, we trust some things sometimes, and other things other times, as faith ebbs and flows.

Of course the whole human race could improve but life is full of everything, including goodness. A lot of it. It's up to us to open up and receive. Grasping for ownership at every turn can be an impediment. That's why I've always pitied the wealthy who can't get enough. You know, I'm an enough is too much type of gal.

Taurus is arising. And also. You are in a fine position. Neptune in Aries in your first/second house meeting wonderful Joop in Aries. Spirit activated. That is definitely something to look forward to. A great horse to ride.

And btw, as a crybaby Cancer myself I know what's up. Or down as it were. There's reason for the rivers of tears, the Cancer sadness, the impossible search for more safety than exists. The shrieking gets on my nerves though. I don't do it anymore.

And now Pluto in my tenth is extracting me from my maternal cave with unmistakable intensity. But I swallow my tears and face the big wide awful world!! There's something out there for me, I'm discovering, And for everybody I encounter. Fair exchange, baby. Nurture the world! And always be sure to have a box of band-aids handy.
