Well there we go then! We must report on anything that happens, yes? Internally, externally, both, neither.

That's why duality is bogus: this one, that one, both or neither. If one discards a particular "hand of cards," well, then... another hand can be delt. Who or what is doing the dealing I have no idea, but at least at 60, I now know that for almost real. ;O)

It's really interestig that you brought this up. Duality really hits with the nodes. And I agree. Some astrologers say you do both. Duality. Equality. I don't agree. But more on that later.

The Gemimi/Sag node in the 2nd/8th could be about traps in thinking patterns that find renewal and eventually a positive turn. The 2nd house can cling to ideas. The 8th can obsess but the North there indicates otherwise eventually, turning pain into knowledge.

The South in Sag often speaks of being force fed ideas in the past that don't gel with the perceptions of the person.

Neith seems to have escaped this, but others I know have been caught in negative religious(or other) ideology and prejudice. Lots of punishment and such.

The North in Gemini seeks to find release from thinking patterns that are stuck and archaic. The renewal is indicated by the 8th house. And this is an overall regeneration for the whole self. Once the mercury/8th house gets going and unlocks the deeper truths it affects circumstances in the life.

The true revelation of how thinking affects everything else.

One main characteristic of Geminini is its pure curiosity and nonjudgemental view. Fact isn't necessarily truth with a bludgeon. Just ideas to be considered. Freedom from someone else's truth with the North in Gem and the ability to communicate it clearly with impact.

The North in Gemini is a master of communication beyond what they even realize.

My friend in Mexico who spoke just a few words of Spanish used to hang out all day in and out... fishing, in the bars.. and talking constanty to these guys that knew no English at all. I was stunned at how he could communicate.

Not with mercury/mars/juno/jupiter in scorp sq to pluto/saturn in leo.

This is a repeat of the Pluto/Mercury of the NN, and the serch for deeper answers. The square to saturn is the block to the real things you are trying to say and the admiration you desire and have coming. It's all being triggered by the Mars in Scorpio now.

Being overlooked can be a problem with the Leo configuration.

Sexist remark comin' up . . . I have had many wonderful Sag women friends all throughout my life, really great people but the men!! Pompous n' vague, and don't forget vain . . . however, this is just my personal experience of Sag guys. I'm sure there are lots of good ones out there . . . some where . . .

When I gave up yearning after a monastic life and got down to developing serious communication skills, things started to come together for me. Just a thought but my Moon in Libra is closely sextile & trine my Nodes. Perhaps that helps with the emotional side of working with the Nodes.

The doom and gloom has served its purpose. And it's all in the mind.

Jupiter has arrived for expansion and learning. Scorpio, good-bye and all the emotional pain.

The optimism of Jupiter comes largely from looking forward to all that will be perceived. The expansion will come for some in getting out of the dark squeezing releasing passageway of Scorpio.

Gotta know when to let go. The lesson we just learned.

For the joy of it. Positive attention, recognition, and praise are honey in the rock for Saturn in Leo. The ego is a beautiful part of the self that the Saturn in leo is learning to love and express.

I don't know who told you that ego is negative. maybe for them it is.

What you're dealing with here is lack of ego. This is what causes people to go to extremes to prove themselves.

A strong ego is nothing but good. Has no reason to hurt others.

It's the lack of the tangible. With Saturn, Uranus & Pluto there are more real time events to hang a meaning on to but Neptune is always in the corner of the eye. We who live intimately with him, know where to put the focus of intent.

A soul can't live in the material without an ego. It's the heart that pumps the life giving blood. Just as life on earth needs the sun.

Everybody has a different relationship with it and lessons to learn.

Saturn in Leo is learning to develop the ego. Let it come out from behind the wall, the shadow.

Donnie, who has Venus and Mercury in Leo has it developed in some ways quite well.

Tseka has the ruler of the ASC in the 5th and she's living her complete life in terms of the ego. Also molding it.

Kadimiros has the NN in Leo. The lucky one who gets to be an glorious egomaniac this time around.

Juju has Sun in leo. Also a lucky one who shines easily and sheds light on others.

Joe and casey have Pluto in the 5th dealing with the bottomless need for ego love with Pluto. Well there IS a bottom.

So it's unique in every case.

My teacher in this lesson had Leo/Venus Sun, Leo rising, and Neptune in leo in the 1st. He was the center of attention his entire life and was adored by all. He entertained and brought joy to others besides being a genius artist. All about ego. I learned from osmosis as my light was eclipsed by Saturn.

With Saturn in Leo now, we are collectively dealing with ego. Bush's failures with Leo rising and Pluto there, and our country's NN in Leo trying to find itself. Ego and pride. A necessary part of life. The more real pride we have, the less these horrors will abound.

The whispering has always enchanted me. And I'm not the only one. It's amazing how these universal themes are passed through all of us. I used to sing this song called Whispering Grass written in 1940 by Fred Fisher. Beautiful melody too, by Doris Fisher. Must have been a husband/wife team.

Why do you whisper green grass
Why tell the trees what ain't so
Whispering grass the trees don't have to know
No, no.
Why tell them all your secrets
Who kissed there long ago
Whispering grass the trees don't need to know.

Don't you tell it to the breeze, 'cause she will tell the birds and bees,
And everyone will know
Because you told the blabbering trees
Yes, you told them once before,
It's no secret anymore.

Why tell them all the old things
There buried under the snow
Whispering grass, don't tell the trees
'Cause the trees don't need to know.

They were great songs. The best in our history. lyrics were original and well thought out. Melodies memorable. Just wonderful music.

Our country with its Mars in Gemini has always loved words and this was one of those times when it worked. It will happen again. Even as bad as rap is, it still speaks of our love of language.

You know I've mentioned before how some believe that the South Node holds all the ancient memory of that sign. I came up with a theory about the great communication skills of the NN in Gemini.

Maybe the memory of all foreign languages is held in the SN in Sagittarius, so the Gemini North understands what people are saying, no matter what the language.

1/12/06 2:12 AM
Blogger kadimiros said...

That's a very elegant idea.

Hmm, I wonder what might a lunar south node in Aquarius signify in that regard. :-)

1/12/06 5:41 PM
Blogger jm said...

Perhaps the SN in Aquarius remembers all the societal governmental structures that ensured cooperation and the vitality of the group. This time he understands how individuality will not harm this cohesiveness, having experienced its successes. So he can stand out without excessive rebelliousness, and without fear of being ostracized. He's belonged enough.

What do you think?

1/12/06 6:13 PM
Blogger jm said...

Another possibility is that the SN remembers all scientific intellectual theories so this time he can express nonsense or anything he wants without looking dumb! Everything is brilliant.

1/12/06 6:22 PM
Blogger kadimiros said...

LOL! I have those other planets in Aquarius, so it is harder to isolate.

I believe that one should follow one's own path, and then if there happen to be others traveling in a similar direction, then that makes for better companionship. There is no need to impose order; compatible groups will form of their own natural accord, if fitting.

I admit that high technology feels familiar to me. But the technology of today compares poorly to what I expect should be possible, so we are not there yet.

Maybe the future is part of my past.

Yes. The memory of technology when it really was futuristic.

There is no need to impose order; compatible groups will form of their own natural accord, if fitting.

My view and rather anarchistic. People will argue with me forever on this. That you can't leave law and order to the people. Well how will they ever learn?

It's like the treatment for a sickness. At first it might get worse, the healing comes.

Aquarius knows the need for independence and self government. They go so wrong and then end up in government as it is today. There are tons of Aquarians there doing it all wrong yet I think somewhere inside they know.

Jim Webb is a new Aquarian on the scene and already he is trouble with the establishment.

Somehow that reminds me of one guy who declared, "Young people must be taught what to think so that they know how to think." LOL! Neither reasoning skills nor intuition need apply.

The poor man had no recognition of essential goodness unless it came with his conservative church's label of approval stuck on it. Unfortunately, his church hadn't much of a clue, either.

Obviously not a thinker.

I have more confidence in people than most. Left to their own devices they might actually do well. It's a laziness that brings thought and governance from others and it never works. People will develop their systems if they must. I think people would rather cooperate. So I lean towards Libertarian philosophy somewhat, but still I am an anarchist at heart.

It's like a muscle. If self discipline and self government are not exercised, they will weaken.
