Love and Nature

And pleasure.
With all this intensity; Pluto transits, bombs flying, drunken Mayans' predictions, ancient prophesies of doom, crying movie stars, and all of the daily horrors, it's good to remember the simple pleasures of life. And the great gift of our five senses.
Whatever did we do right?

This Moon in Taurus has been especially enjoyable for me and Neith, over at The 21st Century Knitting Circle, has an article on the coming Mars in Taurus square Venus in Leo. Great reminder.
It got me to thinking about the pleasures of love and, of course, creativity. I was just reading about the French writer, Marguerite Duras, who fell love with a 23 year old young man at the age of 65, and entered one of the most creative-productive periods of her life. The affair lasted 16 years until her death. What kind of love is required in an artist's life to fulfill her creative potential?
Yes. I do think love and creativity go together like hand in glove. The Taurean skill with the senses and love of material manifestation are the artist's allies. The musician's voice. I'm looking forward to this configuration, along with Saturn's solid guidance, and most of all, the 4 months of Venus in Leo.

A word about the Taurus-Leo square from personal experience and about squares in general.

As learning astrologers here is a good rule. Do not fear squares. They are often highly productive and they share the same modality: cardinal, fixed, mutable.

My life with my partner included his Mars at 19 degrees Taurus square my Saturn in Leo at 22. Words can't describe the productivity, even though it was often painful because of my Saturn block. I thrived as an artist.

His Mars poked prodded, and sometimes blasted through my Saturn wall. In the long run it doesn't matter to me as long as I express my talent. Hoepfully, this square will be kind to me.:o)

So your Saturn sits right on my Mars, what does that mean?

OMG, analysa. I had a big encounter with this realization just the other day. Very big deal.

You arrived here just as Neptune was opposite your Mars and my Saturn. Saturn is just about there too.

The first thing you said was how you were reluctant to unclothe yourself in public. This is Leo's favorite activity.
You have a burning desire (my new favorite phrase thanks to neo), to express yourself and shine in the spotlight with Mars and Jupiter in Leo. I do too, but the Saturn makes it hard.

Boom!! Just as the planets close in, the Mars comes to poke my Saturn. That's you, just like the person I mentioned above with his Mars in Taurus. Great creative stimulation. My Saturn helps you control your expressive impulses, makes them productive, and helps you find your audience. Your block is in articulating what you really want to say, and my Saturn facilitates this. You told your story, the audience response was instant and enthusiatic.

It's a match made in heaven. When conjunctions between charts are this close, it's amazing and fun to follow and work with.

My Saturn offers you protection as you reveal yourself. Your Mars gives me courage.

For you, this also squares your nodes. So your verbal self expression is the way to the pleasure you talk about that's ready to emerge and take over the SN Scorpio pain. The Neptune also squares, ruling your communication. It's a gorgeous orchestration.

Please feel free to take full advantage of my Saturn in Leo.

Your Mars also lands in my grand fire trine which is one of the best known to man.

Aries ASC. 23
Pluto Leo: 13
Saturn Leo: 22
Jupiter Sagittarius: 20
Moon Sagittarius: 22

This gives you tremendous energy, enthusiasm, spirit, and joy, whenever you want it. To offset that deep down watery pressure of Moon-Saturn in Pisces.

“My Saturn offers you protection as you reveal yourself”.

I do feel that prrotective energy, funny!

Well, you´re SPECIAL !

Here's my plan:

We let ourselves go uninhibitedly, love ourselves and one another, celebrate being alive, give applause as much as our little hearts and hands can, and go onward to be the full creative dynamic girls we have always wanted to be. That includes everyone. The boys, too.

A give a big warm fat kiss goodby to the SN in Scorpio.

So I´m back, just had to compose myself a bit here.

That is so great to hear what you said about the dates I gave you synchronizing with your astrological data, so neat how these systems work.

With our energetic numbers I was really interested to find out your communication number, that just tells me a lot. Our basic natures are very similar and that is good for friendship. We have really good communication according to these energies. I´m more slow (as we already know), but my energy nourishes you on that level. Our so called tendencies numbers are also really compatible. You like to be in the spotlight and have a dazzling way of doing things.

So your moon and jupiter square a lot of my planets in the 3 &9. So, highly productive?

The more you rest and nourish yourself this year the more energy you will have in the coming years. Remember, it is winter time for you all through feb 3. During winter nature rests, you don´t plant any new seeds.

Enjoy these last moments to yourself, they are real precious!

I love this so much.

Under the circumstances, with this reprieve,I thought it would be fun and illuminating to do all our compatibilities chartwise. We could combine with the number system.

My moon-Jupiter falls in your 1st house, another big plus for you. If anyone gets a hold of my Moon-joop they're in luck.

Yes, more on the numbers.

Your 4d Sun in Libra falls on my 0 Mars in Libra, another energetic combination. Our skills in relationship are lit up like a bonfire with this, although my Mars can cause conflict.
My Mars conjuncts your 9th house Sun almost on the MC, encouraging your public expression of your knowledge.
Your Sun falls in my 6th, and maybe it would make me straighten up and get orderly! You've already got me organized timewise with the numbers and this is going to be very helpful.

And yes, my Moon-joop exactly square your Moon-Saturn in Pisces is the optimism to help with the sorrow and brooding of the Pisces. There will be a conflict between that depressive, despairing aspect, and my annoying bouyancy. Sometimes a Moon-Saturn needs down dark time. A moon-joop, however, can't put out the flame. I could use a little hard realism, as much as I don't care for it.
One of my favorite friends out there on the streets of town is a Libra with Moon-Saturn in Pisces. The night of the last presidential election I fell into her arms and wept. She was the one who caught me.

This system is based on the I Ching and Feng Shui, it is all connected, just applied to people and their year, month and day of birth. There are 9 energies and they are expresed in the famous magic square as numbers, don´t know if you´ve seen it. It has a lot of depth to it, much more than I´ve had a chance to learn. What I like about it a lot is it´s great for planning important events or changes in your life as well as for moving or going on a holiday. Chosing the right timing for something is essential. It gives you a lot of control on the outcome. The thing is often you have to wait a long time before you can start something and that can be a nuisance. But is gives you conscious control of your life, it can empower you greatly.

Jm´s basic energy is represented by the lake, her tendency enegy is fire and how she combines and expresses these two in the world is as thunder energy, from there comes all that bouyancy or as you say “ a moon-joop, however, can't put out the flame”. That thunder energy, your expression, is also like the beginning of spring, that raw creative force that bursts through powerfully in the springtime. It gives you so much energy and brilliant ideas.

I was checking on when you started RU (18 july 06, right?) and you chose a great year and month, you were sitting right in the spotlight, the perfect place to be to get noticed. The day you chose had less energy so it would influence it in a way that it would grow gradually, which is good. It also gave you the teachers hat. Did you ever teach in your life?

I wonder how many people come and hang out here, you should know or have a way of checking it out, right?

Lit up like a bonfire? I have always been so inspired by the beauty of the written word expressing the truth of the universe.

“Your Mars also lands in my grand fire trine which is one of the best known to man”. It does look glorious, I am delighted!

“Add to this, Venus for 4 months in the neighborhood”. So, will this be an intense 4 month love affair of the mind and then cool off? Actually, no, just thinking, according to this energy system we met during the best month, I will have to check the date. The year is fascinating, deep spirituality, we are in the best year for writing.

By the way, will Venus move through my 8th finalize positively all these financial /business deals I want to get out of?

LOL!!! Is this an abreviation for “lots of love” ? - analysa the alien asks. Don´t always know all of them.

Sorry to deflate the Venus in Leo balloon just a bit -- my Saturn in Virgo's switched on. It's true that Venus entered Leo June 5 and exits October 7, but we'll have the opportunity to sift and analyze our pleasures and values during Venus' sojourn in Virgo from July 14 to August 8, and of course again starting October 7.
But as tseka pointed out some time back, Venus will be essentially dancing just with Saturn and Neptune.
It's curious, jm, that you should mention Duras' affair, as something lately reminded me of the '70s movie "Harold and Maude." It's led me to revisit the significance of my own initiation with a woman born a nodal cycle before me -- my NN in 5th).

You are the eternal spring.
Out of winter comes spring.
Your spring energy just pulls out of my winter energy the hidden potentials. You activate that.
My energy is like the nourishment that supports you to express your creativities.

I´m real introverted by nature, don´t open up to people much at all. I am amazed that I come here and am participating at all!!! Yeah, pd. I overlooked that tiny bit of Virgo, being so short, but it's significant. It'll be a little prep for the Saturn transit. Very interesting how this is matched with the Saturn in Leo moving to Virgo.

Sounds fascinating, this initiation. Would love to know more.

This really is interesting. Analysa has this node, and you two in the initiation. This illuminates more about the node and its placing of love above all convention and restriction. The essence of it, and the foolishness of not giving in completely to the sensation that is so nurturing to the spirit. And how it really has no body and appears anywhere, not like the love in partnerships that has ulterior motives.

Absolutely on target. I thought a later about the gradual growth I wanted. Very interesting. And never in a million years did I anticipate the teaching aspect, but it is also in my chart. Brand new hat, although it goes back to a specific incident in high school, when I was put into that role by surprise. A teacher who recognize my talent. But I never have formally taught.

You can easily make hasty decisions before thinking something through and this impatience can be your undoing.

LOL!! Just ask everyone here about the night I shut down all the comments!

BTW, LOL means "laugh out loud", but I like yours better! "Lots of love".

Well put. The infatuation part. Then the ongoing love settles in. We do have Saturn, Mars, Jupiter, and a NN in Leo between us.

On to the Venus through your 8th and your introversion in a second.

Great great point. The second guessing that trips us all up as if the "other" voice comes in and tells us we're doing something wrong when all of our being is drawn into the activity. Where do doubts really come from? I need an answer to this, if you please.

I have an issue with leaving comments on other sites, it is just too much for me at the moment. I like being the quite observer. But here, its like I´m jumping right in!

This is fundamental to my nature. Where is it in the numbers?
I have an enthusiasm for experience and a genuine gregarious nature. I am infinitely curious about others' inner landscapes and I am a champion of self expression. People also trust me and reveal things easily, as I do. I'm largely accepting of human frailty, although critical of society. But I don't leap to judgement about what others' express in their personal dilemmas. I try to understand what's really happening. I think a lot of it is the flame that never goes out in my fire trine. It leaps and has to turn to vapor so it can leap again. It constantly seeks release.
And when people express themselves openly about themselves, I learn about myself. I do get bored, though, when they talk about other people a lot. I prefer they talk about themselves. It's more present and I'm Nowist.

Sometimes I feel like the world around me is populated by zombies. Television stole their will and spark. They lack animation and I almost went into animated film making, so I need life in people. One incarnation is so short and I want to make the most of it, including high times with all my friends and new lovers!

I'll get to the 8th house thing. It's complicated.

Self expression is in the spotlight now that Saturn is leaving Leo. Everyone wants it. It seems to center in the trunk of the body, around the solar plexus. It includes, laughter, sobbing, sneezing, orgasm, and all those things that don't want to be stopped.

There's a floodgate and once it's opened, we pour out of ourselves. Why not?

And speaking of infatuation, I'm the biggest culprit of them all. O mirror, morror.

My Venus-Uranus in Gemini falls madly in love instantly. Man, woman, horse, house, vegetable, fabric, anything and everything.

Leo is famous for the dramatic sensation of love and its tragic Romeo and Juliet nature as well, but Gemini loves in the mind, the objects being symbols of love of the world around them.

Venus-Uranus instanly falls in love, but can also leave the love object in a flash if it dares to get boring!

“Just ask everyone here about the night I shut down all the comments!”
Will you tell me what happened?

“Where do doubts really come from? I need an answer to this, if you please”.
Well in oriental medicine they connect all emotions to the different organs in the body. If the organs are healthy and the chi is flowing you should feel more the positive emotions associated with that organ. If it is clogged up, hardened, rigid you are more likely to experience the negative emotions. Doubt is associated with the soil element. Healthy kidneys give you courage where as if they are week you experience fear. Of course you can look at it from different directions but to dissolve it I think it helps a lot to work on your physical condition.

“I like being the quite observer. But here, its like I´m jumping right in! This is fundamental to my nature. Where is it in the numbers?”
You mean, you jumping right in into things? That is in your middle number 3, the thunder, but 7 thrives on different experiences, so it supports it and your third number 9 is also very impulsive. All three numbers are very independant. (739 are your energy numbers).

“I'd like to know more about the lake. Is is still and peaceful fundamentally?”
The image of the lake is that it is very smooth, it has this very sensitive or delicate side but can also turn stormy or passionate, also very nervous. A calm lake can become very powerful. It is also standing water, a more gathered place with depth to it.

The lake is expressed as the number 7. They are great entertainers, easy going, flexible, social, like to talk a lot, stormy, passionate, calculating, loyal, very sensitive and detail minded. They need to develop their own thing. Very independant, playful, sexual and sensual, resourceful, good with money.

“Of course, Jupiter and Mars in Leo? Nothing special!” ?????????????

I was going to say something about that. Your first number 7 is also associated with the “youngest daughter”, their is always something youthful about them plus your second number 3, spring time, will always make you look younger than you are, it gives your face a freshness, I have seen that with a lot of 3´s. The 9 is your glamorous side.

Very very interesting. Connected to things I've been contemplating. hrrrumph!

The 7 description is entirely accurate.

“Of course, Jupiter and Mars in Leo? Nothing special!” ?????????????

In resonse to you saying you weren't special. This is Leo to the maximum. She has to know she is superior in some way. Not as a whole human being, but for some special talent.

Jupiter in Leo is big. A magnanimous self expressive part, even if blocked. Great self confidence and a desire for self aggrandizement. Mars is the will and energy to do it, and the fearlessness. It's all the Virgo that tries to make you humble. Pluto and all. Interesting combo. But the NN in the 5th says the self inflation will triumph. And it should.

I get frustrated with people and blow a gasket sometimes, saying I'm through with them forever, see you next lifetime. I got into one of these snits one day, and decided I didn't want to participate in the games that were abounding as they always do.
Perfect opportunity for my impulsive rage to bring down the sword. So I disabled the comments and posted pictures.

I did, however, leave jazzrap open. That was a clue that I was in one of my bombastic wild acts, soon to be amended.

Interesting what you say about Jup & Mars in Leo, it is a side I don´t know about myself, except for a inner confidence that guides me in my life. I believe though that most of those qualities will develop more when I embrace my NN 5th H , but the Virgo will always be there leveling it, I think. Plus my middle energy,1 water, doesn´t like to be in the spotlight, my 7 & 2 are the social energies I have.

Your “blowing a gasket sometimes”, that is THUNDER!!!! HA HA

Ah, by the way, I think we women can be called “ladies” it doesn´t matter if 20 or 80. And as for feeling young, that too.

“I do get riled though, at times” Have to look up the meaning of riled, don´t know that word ........ Ah, “ to make agitated and angry : UPSET/ irritate”. That is part of the energy of 3, related to liver/gallbladder. Makes so much sense. Liver energy needs good yin to function smoothly, strong yang and extreme yin will just make it explode.

“I could tell you what me and that gorgeous graceful waiter were doing, but I won't. It's not what you think.:o).”
I know, thinks often are not what they seem. Funny though when you look at this post and Duras young lover and you end up being persued by a young waiter here, that was not intentional on my side. I had forgotten everything about Duras.

Take some time to watch some of these videos if you can and have the interest.

http://www.ichblog.eu/index.php?option=com_seyret&task=videodirectlink&id=55988

In the last 3 years I´ve been exposed to some shocking documentaries about the food industry. When I see those huge factories and all their mechanized way of producing food I´m not surprised about what you say “the world around me is populated by zombies”. That kind of food cannot produce anything else but zombies. I haven´t taken any medication of any kind in the last 23 years of my life and when I make a meal, I have to start from scratch, nothing from the ready-made department of frozen or canned foods. It´s a lot of work sometimes, but it has been more than worth it.

14/6/07 11:48 AM
Blogger jm said...

I agree, analysa, about the food. It's the biggest part of life. I think mindfulness is the key. This is big for Virgo.

There is some variation though on the Pisces side. Some people can take anything into their bodies and make it work. It all comes down to molecules and some people use them differently.

This is why I'm not a big alarmest when it comes to additives and everything, although I lean toward purity myself.

There is some truth to the idea that it's the attitude toward what we take into our bodies that makes the difference.

When I see those huge factories and all their mechanized way of producing food I´m not surprised about what you say “the world around me is populated by zombies”. That kind of food cannot produce anything else but zombies

Yes. The zombification might have something to do with mass production and the Industrial Revolution.

But from here it's complex. People are trapped and not everyone has the wherewithall to make pure food. although I think they should be highly encouraged to feed it to their babies.

Most of all, I think people should be aware of their bodies. TV is a huge distraction and makes people eat when and what it tells them too.

The impulse to feed the body properly has to be natural, so evolutionary changes are required. Maybe as humans develop a new relationship with the earth, they will do so with themselves as well.
And maybe, if we truly evolve, some of the excess can be siphoned off to feed all the people who have almost nothing to eat.

Food, man.

For sure! It has to be natural and supported by a social system that has the intelligence to produce foods that are fit for human consumption. Most of what is out there is poisonous today.

Its a simple question at the end of the day for each person. Quality not quantity. How much respect and integrity do I have, not just for myself and my family, but the environment?

Only the BEST for me, it will be!
