Astrobabble with Winston Moonbat

Hello! Hello! You magnificent earthlings. I'm down to update you on the proceedings here in the stars.

Mercury and Jupiter are semi-sesquiquadrate and there will plenty of gaseous commentary going on. Venus is bi-sesquiquincunx Mars so their usual squabbling can be expected. Jupiter is lollygagging in Aquarius right now but soon he'll be meeting our pal Neptune in Pisces for a year of who-knows-what? This and that, I'd say.

Neptune has been driving you wonderful earthlings a little crazy lately, while troublemaker, Pluto, has been up to his usual jiggery-pokery. Don't worry. Wild Uranus is sure to entertain your eager spirits. He's usually good for a few laughs.

Well, I've got to run. A star exploded and I'm going to help with the cleanup. I'll be back soon!

Winston! It's been far too long!
Great to see you and that cute wee sidekick.

Life proceeds at it's cosmic speed. Always something happening. Great heavens though an exploding star!?! Hope you have a giant stardustpan for that clean up.

Today is B's birthday.
Ha! Cosmic joke, jury summons in the mail.

Lovely dinner, I fractured a molar. Pain free, but looks like an expensive fix.

Yep, it's always something...what could we do but laugh?

OH NO!!!!!!!!! Molars! What a day will do. I hate stuff like that so much I can't express it. Teeth, man. It's tough. And a darn jury summons to further upset the day. Teeth are worth the cost, though. I actually love my dentists.
I finally got an implant where one of my molars lived and it's amazing. Better than the troublesome tooth!
I hope to have my pearly whites still with me when I reach the pearly gates.

Give B a birthday hug for me! What a gorgeous guy. Too bad the molar is such a party pooper.

True. Gotta laugh. Unless it's an exploding star in your backyard or an extinction event.

Implants are so interesting. The human bone's compatibility with titanium is kind of miraculous. Titanium gets its name from the Titans in mythology.

"Titanium is considered the most biocompatible metal – not harmful or toxic to living tissue – due to its resistance to corrosion from bodily fluids. This ability to withstand the harsh bodily environment is a result of the protective oxide film that forms naturally in the presence of oxygen."

Harsh bodily environment. Ha Ha!

I need another implant so I squirreled away some virus money for the occasion. Imagine that. The government buys me an implant. Thank you so much. A titanium lining in the covid cloud.

So happy to hear your titanium implant is living comfortably with the rest of your pearly whites.
What a tremendous advancement in dentistry!

Today was spent digging up the septic tank.
I had let friends stay from Africa while I stayed over at my mom's house.
Whatever did they do?

Septic systems especially old ones need careful use no baby wipes or make up removers etc allowed.

So, since the tooth is without pain the septic will get fixed first.

Winston is right it's cleanup time.
Pluto is uncovering the parts concealed that need fixin'.

The pearly off-whites! Truly a tremendous advancement, those titanium teeth. My dentist was wonderful. When he removed the bad tooth he discovered no bone on one side. He nimbly got some magic bone and mesh from his bag of tricks and built a new support structure. I'm not sure he had even done that before. I was proud of him.

Ugh! Septic tank troubles. Elimination is not always easy! I'm curious about the Africans.

Pluto has certainly revealed a mess. I'm ready for the elimination part. I'm composing a wish list.

Africans
Live in Tanzania.
I met the man when I was climbing in Yosemite about 45 years ago. His sun on my asc. Remained friends through the years, long tether stretched to his years in Antarctica, then Africa where he settled decades ago. Wife is Tanzanian., lovely.

Man came from the upper crust of society though it would be hard to guess this. Quite the Aquarian.

Much unrest in Africa now, everywhere. Wife finds America very strange. They may work out a together apart relationship. The land she loves, is hostile to an aging white guy with health problems. Family and one could say tribal ties are very strong. Living here for her would be difficult.

I have another friend who has that same degree Sun. Unique friendships.

Possibly. Tomorrow will provide more information.

Old houses have many problems. They require much attention. Does not really matter. Things just need attention when they do.

The exploded molar was saved!
Three hours of grinding and burring. It's now safely wrapped in a temporary crown. Pretending to be a pearly white still counts when the root is attached right?

So, I'll not be joining you in the Titan - titanium club, my pocketbook is relieved. This was expensive enough. Explosions are very costly.

Excellent!!!!! Three hours??? Holy cornfield! What patience you both have. Amazing dentists and their skilled hands. God love'em.

Costly explosions on the fault lines. Absolutely. The root is primary, white, off-white, gray, brown, they all count. Amazing molars. Wonderful news.

More love to our truck drivers.
Ed Durr, a truck driver, with $153 campaign chest defeated a 20 year senator in New Jersey...who also was the senate president.

The script is getting juicy. The theater was hushed with the unexpected flip.

Beginning to feel very Aquarian too.

$153.00 !!

That win was stunning. It's just the beginning. It's my long held view that an extended conservative cycle is ahead. Not that it means much of an improvement but eventually it will improve somewhat as more grass roots types like Ed gradually get elected. I'm sure the trend will take hold. The script is definitely becoming lively. It will force the Democrats to finally straighten up and contribute their own rootsy candidates. Honest ones. The birth of MAGA was the start. The needs of the time determine everything.

For example, we have to get back to pertinent education so our young can compete in the big wide world. Frivolous pursuits are okay for awhile, but it's time to move forward. Futuristic Aquarius.

The socialist cycle started during the depression and now the balance comes. Saturn in Libra. Balance is in the country's bones.

The movement of working class and minorities to the Republican party is a phenomenon to behold. It will take a long time to come to a workable equilibrium but that's the point of our Saturn Libra one on one two party system. A hard lesson in compromise, cooperation, intelligent debate, and fairness. Anything's possible. I'm willing to give it time, even if it's way more than I have!

Yes, darling! While getting things prepared to build a wee greenhouse, taking advantage of this glorious weather, I fell.
Fell hard onto the concrete and broke my wrist, also terrible bruising to ribs. But, I still have fingers capable of tapping out short messages with typos!

Oh my god in heaven.

What a day will so. Events of late in my life have been unspeakable. So I've been relatively quiet. I let it do what it does. I think it has intelligence.

What life will do. In the midst of sublime pleasure, everything going right, comes disaster. Oh the irony. I'm using it as strength building and endurance. And especially for intestinal fortitude improvement.

Good thing about a broken wrist is its predictable healing pattern although those little bones can surely hurt while mending. We older gals have had a lifetime of these mishaps. We are wizened.

Typos forever!!!!

I hope the wee greenhouse gets done somehow. Spring will be here soon. Meanwhile relax and endure. The shoe has dropped once again!

Worry not. I exaggerated a bit under the auspices of Jupiter. It's quite normal and the unspeakable part is my nature. I don't talk about especially important events. It detracts from my ability to understand and fix problems. I find I do best by handling it myself undistracted. The latest is almost fixed! Time to put up my holiday light show. Weather's perfect.

There is one big event I discuss, however. I find myself in the prelude to Neptune in Aries, a major transit for my Aries ascendant. The closing chapters of my life will have Aries Neptune and then the piece de resistance, Neptune in Taurus. These are big events for me since I have Mars Neptune conjunct natally. I'm anticipating, preparing, and rehearsing. I must stay around to fully savor Neptune in Taurus, with good teeth, solid bones, flexibility, and great posture! I plan to be jogging at 100, albeit slowly.

26/11/21 12:41 PM
Blogger Tseka said...

Why not jog at 100?

My plans are for the same!

Hang your light show, be of good cheer and wallow in silence as needed to accomplish great things!

Me and my big ideas. I had an old garden vine thingy, good design, which I saw as a great light holder. I spent the entire afternoon wrapping some gorgeous purple lights around it, multi-colored in the center. It worked! Very zen. Very nice.

It's always a great pleasure to see the gradual coming to life of lights in my community. The switch is on. Everyone's different, both in taste and in pace. Some do the same display each year, some are unpredictable. Ahh, the diverse human conglomerate. I appreciate the radiance, and of course the colors. LED and incandescense in harmony. Mother's night endures.

Sounds wonderful. Unique and inventive. It's great that your community puts up lights for the winter holidays. I love seeing them.

My own community has gone dark over the years as wokeness has permeated the area. Paradoxically a gazillion air B & Bs have sprung up lit to the max. My dark starry nights are no longer as dense with stars.

The bobats and ravens still stop by for a chat so the most important part of my community remains intact.

29/11/21 3:25 PM
Blogger jm said...

Yeah. A lot stays intact.
It's tradition here. Both the Association and the homeowners relish the act. This year they're trying new things so I'm looking forward to my scenic walk, when the canines are settled down for the night.
It's like nature. No matter what, the lights come out.

But my artist's eye was slightly upset this evening. My near neighbors, two households together, have put up a fantastic display except for one awful green spot that clashes and threatens to ruin everything. Fortunately, from my patio, I can't see the offending spot! The rest is really beautiful.

Overall, I am impressed. They do a great job and the people really enjoy displaying and admiring others' creations. My neighbors across from my bedroom have those weeping icicles over their garage. I love them. The self-expressive urge finds its outlet with an instant audience. Really. The individuality is quite amazing. I don't see much copying going on. It warms my cockles. I like their pride.

29/11/21 6:05 PM
Blogger jm said...

I also created an offending spot! The multicolored center didn't work outside. So I took it out! Unwinding was better than winding. I like undoing. That's why I love taking out stitches. My seam ripper is a favorite tool around here.

You and your seam ripper!
Gotta confess, I love mine as well!

Your description of the lights creates a cozy scene.
All is suggestive of Neptune turning direct tomorrow.
We may find small magic this December

30/11/21 3:29 PM
Blogger jm said...

Yes!!! I felt the magic today. Some weight lifted. Into the ethers. I'm putting up more art work and drifting into beauty. I climbed the ladder to the top of my cathedral ceilings this afternoon to put up a painting of a man-boy blowing bubbles into the skies, and probably the heavens.

The gals with their green lights were out fiddling some more and enjoying their achievements. Their comments on the their magnificent display were amusing. They put their hearts into it. Tidings of comfort and joy it's been sung.

I do believe magic is afoot this December. The balance of nature. Contrasts are everything.

Oh boy. Neptune.

Yes. Jupiter will be exalted there, the old ruler.

I love your man-boy blowing bubbles from your ceiling into the heavens.

Here i turn on clear minis all year; faery lights. B loves them as much as i do!

I've been forced to sit a lot to allow the ribs to heal. I watch the birds and admire the blue of the sky. My heart lifts. I've felt a strange mix of joy despite some of the hardships people are going trough.

Growing up on a reservation was a blessing. Outsiders saw poverty but we saw abundance. Contentment in an abundant universe, perhaps more will find this now?

30/11/21 6:07 PM
Blogger jm said...

And I love fairy lights as much as you and GG. I too have an arrangement that goes year round.

Oh those bruised ribs! They hurt. I still remember the last bout with the lunging huge dog.

Context is part of the big Everything. I normally detest cold white LEDs but in some cases they look good. I'm becoming open minded in my old age. Miracles do occur.

Today I'm going up on the roof to wash the cathedral windows. Neptune turns direct exactly square my Moon-joop. I'm ready and willing. Oh wait! There's no will with Neptune. Almost forgot.

On the interesting question of contentment....

As Pluto inches toward Aquarius, Saturn is highlighted along with Uranus in Taurus. Personal contentment squares off against collective want. Briefly, Saturn might restrict collective satisfaction which sets the stage for discovering personal contentment within, and maybe in new and original ways. Uranus. While Neptune continues to offer the spritual route. To each his own. That's why I'm dusting off the cathedral windows. Just in case.

Sometimes the universe is abundant, sometimes not. It gives and takes. It depends on where one is looking. And what and who one really is.

HA HA HA!!!! "Scampering on rooftops seven decades in." Great image.

I love my feet and pamper them well. So I do a little shopping at DSW which has a wonderful customer friendly business model. Among the junk products are some quality shoes and the deals are outrageous. Rewards are copious,
They used to award me 50 points for donating old shoes, 100 points being $5. But yesterday I donated a pair and earned 200 points, instant 10 dollar credit! Of course it keeps us spending, but I'm the smartest shopper on earth.

People are enterprising. They buy shoes at the thrift store on half price days, which are often, and sell them on Ebay or donate to good ol' DSW at the super rate. Recycling at its best.

So interesting economic twists are presenting themselves as consumers spend less. Uranus in Taurus will probably be a bonanza for some as big money contorts itself to keep up and acquisitive humans take advantage. The Queen of Non might buy a few special things. Who knows?

I'm going to donate a nice pair of Asics that hurt my right big toe. Instant 10! How to turn pain into pleasure. NN Taurus expertise.

1/12/21 5:15 PM
Blogger jm said...

My DSW order has shipped!! I just got notice.

Here's the arithmetic ....

I had $60 in rewards from the previous donation deal. I chose an adorable pair of Skechers for the stairmaster that retails at 65, on clearance for 45. Then some Comfortiva sandals, retail 50, clearance 40. Add the 30% off deal and my final cost was .... wait for it .... 0 dollars!

That's how I keep my feet happy and scampering on rooftops. Thank you world.

DSW shoe recycling is new to me.
Looked it up
I have some shoes barely worn...in a box for the thrift shop.....hmmmmm. Will look into this some more. The Queen of non has very hard to fit feet. Once a pair works they get worn to nothing. But those mistake purchases have barely a wear mark. They were cluttering up my closet. Thanks for the tip my fellow frugal shopper.

1/12/21 6:59 PM
Blogger jm said...

They take any shoes. But do it now while the deal is good. You might have to sign up for a VIP membership which is simple. They always have good promotions.
$100 for 5 in rewards is good in itself but they do double and triple points all the time, constant discounts, and 50 points for just writing a review. It adds up fast. Plus free shipping to your door.
What a great way to get rid of the excess in your closet. Everybody gains. Hopefully they have shoes for your quirky feet! If not, the gorgeous guys and others could benefit. I support this straightforward company. And I love our satisfaction guaranteed retail system. You love it, you keep it. If not, take it back.
